3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Mouse
Before first use, fully charge the mouse using the provided USB-A to Type-C cable. Connect the Type-C end to the mouse and the USB-A end to a computer's USB port or a compatible USB charger. The LED indicator on the mouse will show charging status.
3.2 Connection Modes
The DeLUX M800 Ultra supports three connection modes: 2.4G Wireless, Bluetooth, and Wired (USB-C).
3.2.1 2.4G Wireless Connection
- Locate the USB receiver and plug it into an available USB port on your computer. For optimal signal, use the extension adapter to position the receiver closer to the mouse.
- On the bottom of the mouse, slide the connection mode switch to the '2.4G' position.
- The mouse should automatically connect to the receiver. If not, press the 'DPI/Pair' button on the bottom of the mouse to initiate pairing.
3.2.2 Bluetooth Connection
- On the bottom of the mouse, slide the connection mode switch to the 'BT' position.
- Press and hold the 'DPI/Pair' button on the bottom of the mouse for 3 seconds until the LED indicator blinks rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
- On your computer or device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices. Select 'DeLUX M800 Ultra' from the list to connect.
3.2.3 Wired Connection
Connect the USB-A to Type-C cable directly from your computer's USB port to the mouse. The mouse will function in wired mode and charge simultaneously. No specific switch position is required for wired operation, but it is recommended to switch to 'OFF' or '2.4G' if you intend to use it wired while charging to avoid potential conflicts with Bluetooth.
3.3 Software Installation
The DeLUX M800 Ultra is designed for plug-and-play functionality. While some advanced customization options might be available through optional software, the core features and settings can be managed directly on the mouse. Please check the official DeLUX website for any available driver or software downloads.

4.1 Button Layout and Functions

Figure 3: Bottom button layout for DPI, Polling Rate, and Connection Mode
- Left Click Button: Standard primary click function.
- Right Click Button: Standard secondary click function.
- Scroll Wheel: Scrolls content vertically. Can also be pressed for a middle-click function.
- Side Buttons: Typically function as 'Forward' and 'Backward' in web browsers and file explorers. Programmable via software if available.
- DPI/Pair Button (Bottom): Short press to cycle through DPI settings. Long press to initiate Bluetooth or 2.4G pairing.
- Connection Mode Switch (Bottom): Toggles between 'OFF', 'BT' (Bluetooth), and '2.4G' wireless modes.
- PR (Polling Rate) Button (Bottom): Short press to cycle through polling rate settings (e.g., 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1000Hz).
4.2 DPI Adjustment
Press the DPI/Pair button on the bottom of the mouse to cycle through preset DPI levels. The LED indicator may change color or blink to indicate the current DPI setting.
4.3 Polling Rate Adjustment
Press the PR button on the bottom of the mouse to cycle through available polling rates (e.g., 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1000Hz). Higher polling rates provide more responsive tracking. The mouse supports up to 4000Hz polling rate with an optional DELUX Hyperspeed Wireless Receiver (sold separately).
4.4 Battery Status
The LED indicator on the mouse will typically show battery status. Refer to the product's quick start guide or official website for specific LED patterns indicating low battery or charging status.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean the mouse, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Do not allow liquids to enter the mouse's internal components.
5.2 Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the mouse frequently. Charge the mouse when the low battery indicator appears. If storing the mouse for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% and store it in a cool, dry place.
5.3 Replacing Mouse Feet
The mouse comes with additional PTFE mouse feet. If the existing feet show significant wear, carefully peel them off and replace them with the new ones, ensuring the surface is clean before application.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Mouse Not Responding
- Ensure the mouse is charged.
- Check the connection mode switch on the bottom of the mouse. Ensure it is set to the correct mode (2.4G or BT) or connected via USB-C cable.
- For 2.4G, try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port or closer to the mouse using the extension adapter.
- For Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and try re-pairing the mouse.
- Restart your computer.
6.2 Connection Issues
- 2.4G Interference: Move the mouse and receiver away from other wireless devices or sources of electromagnetic interference.
- Bluetooth Pairing Failure: Ensure the mouse is in pairing mode (LED blinking rapidly). Remove the mouse from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to pair again.
6.3 DPI/Polling Rate Not Changing
- Ensure you are pressing the correct button (DPI/Pair for DPI, PR for Polling Rate).
- If using optional software, ensure it is running and configured correctly.
6.4 Battery Not Charging
- Verify the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the mouse and the power source.
- Try a different USB port or charging adapter.
- Ensure the charging cable is not damaged.
