- Check Laptop Compatibility: Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports Data Transfer, Video Output (DisplayPort Alt Mode), and Power Delivery. Not all USB-C ports have full functionality.

- Connect Power Adapter (Optional but Recommended): For stable operation and laptop charging, connect your laptop's original USB-C power adapter to the docking station's PD (Power Delivery) USB-C port. The docking station supports up to 100W pass-through charging.
