Key Features:

3. Setup and Assembly

The KINGRACK 4-Step Ladder comes mostly pre-assembled. Only the handrails and the tool platform require attachment. All necessary hardware and tools are included.

Assembly Steps:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Verify that all components and hardware are present according to the packing list (if provided).
  2. Attach Handrails:
    • Align the handrails with the designated attachment points on the main ladder frame.
    • Insert the longer threaded bolts through the frame and into the brass threads recessed in the handrails.
    • Hand-tighten the bolts initially to ensure correct threading. If resistance is met, re-align and try again to avoid cross-threading.
    • Once all bolts are hand-tightened, use the provided Allen key to securely fasten them. Do not overtighten.
  3. Install Tool Platform:
    • The tool platform unit slots into the top section of the ladder.
    • Secure the tool platform using the shorter inner threaded pins and washers.
    • Attach the two lower support stay bars of the tool platform to the main chassis using the longer inner threaded pins, ensuring plastic bushes are correctly positioned between the frame and the stay bars.
    • Insert the short threaded Allen key bolts and tighten them.
    • Note: The two main pre-fitted bolts and nuts on the tool platform are designed to be slightly loose to allow for smooth folding. Do not attempt to tighten these further.
  4. Final Check: After assembly, ensure all bolts are tightened, and the ladder feels stable. Test the folding and unfolding mechanism.

  2. Grasp the top handle and gently pull the front and back sections apart until the ladder is fully extended.

  2. Locate the yellow safety locking mechanism under the top step.
  3. Lift the yellow tab to disengage the lock.
