Setup

1. Initial Pairing

1. Ensure earbuds are fully charged.
2. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light on the case.
3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth.
4. Search for "CMF Buds Pro" in the list of available Bluetooth devices.
5. Select "CMF Buds Pro" to connect. Once connected, the LED light on the case will turn solid.

2. App Installation (CMF BY NOTHING APP)

For full functionality and customization, download the CMF BY NOTHING APP from your device's app store (available for Android & iOS). The app allows you to:

• Customize touch controls.
• Adjust equalizer settings.
• Toggle noise cancellation modes.
• Activate Low Latency Mode for gaming.
• Check battery levels for earbuds and case.
• Perform firmware updates.

Operating Instructions

Touch Controls

The CMF Buds Pro feature intuitive touch controls on the stem of each earbud. These controls can be customized via the CMF BY NOTHING APP.

Note: Single tap functionality is not available. Customization options are available in the CMF BY NOTHING APP.

Noise Cancellation Modes

The CMF Buds Pro offer advanced noise control features:

• Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): Reduces ambient noise by up to 45dB across an ultra-wide frequency range of up to 5000 Hz, ideal for noisy environments.
• Transparency Mode: Allows you to hear your surroundings clearly without removing the earbuds, enhancing safety and awareness.
• Off: Disables both ANC and Transparency modes.

Cycle through these modes by tapping and holding the earbud stem, or manage them directly in the CMF BY NOTHING APP.

Ultra Bass Technology

The earbuds feature Ultra Bass Technology, which enhances bass sound quality. This can be further customized using the adjustable equalizer in the CMF BY NOTHING APP for a more immersive music experience.

Low Latency Mode

Activate Low Latency Mode via the CMF BY NOTHING APP to minimize audio delay, providing a more synchronized experience for gaming and video playback.

Multi-point Connection

The CMF Buds Pro support multi-point connection, allowing you to connect to two devices simultaneously. To switch between devices, simply pause playback on the active device and start playback on the other. The earbuds will automatically switch audio sources.

Battery and Charging

The CMF Buds Pro offer extended battery life for prolonged listening:

• Earbuds Only: Up to 6.5 hours of playback with ANC on, and up to 11 hours with ANC off.
• Total Playback (with Charging Case): Up to 22 hours with ANC on, and up to 39 hours with ANC off.
• Fast Charging: A 10-minute charge provides 3-5 hours of use (depending on mode).

To charge the earbuds, place them in the charging case. To charge the case, connect it to a power source using the provided USB-A to Type-C cable.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your earbuds.

Cleaning

• Regularly clean the ear tips with a soft, dry cloth.
• Gently wipe the earbuds and charging case with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Ensure charging contacts on both earbuds and case are clean and dry.

Water Resistance

The CMF Buds Pro earbuds are rated IP54 for dust and water resistance. This means they are protected against limited dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. The charging case is also IP54 rated.

Note: IP54 rating does not mean the earbuds are waterproof. Do not submerge them in water or expose them to heavy rain or sweat for prolonged periods. Damage due to liquid exposure is not covered under warranty.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your CMF Buds Pro, try the following solutions:

• No Sound:
  • Ensure earbuds are charged and connected to your device.
  • Check device volume and media playback.
  • Try re-pairing the earbuds.
• Connection Issues:
  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and within range (up to 10 meters).
  • Forget "CMF Buds Pro" from your device's Bluetooth list and re-pair.
  • Restart your device.
• Noise Cancellation Not Working:
  • Ensure ANC mode is activated via touch control or the app.
  • Check ear tip fit for a proper seal.
• Earbuds Not Charging:
  • Ensure charging contacts on earbuds and case are clean.
  • Verify the charging cable and power source are working.
  • Check the charging case battery level.
• Touch Controls Unresponsive:
  • Ensure earbuds are clean and dry.
  • Restart the earbuds by placing them in the case and closing it for a few seconds.
  • Check app settings for control customization.
