3.3 Bluetooth Pairing

The KBWPRO keyboard can connect to up to three devices. Follow these steps to pair your keyboard:

  1. Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
  2. On the keyboard, press and hold one of the Bluetooth channel keys (BT1, BT2, or BT3) for approximately 3 seconds until the corresponding indicator light starts blinking rapidly. This indicates the keyboard is in pairing mode.
  3. On your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), go to the Bluetooth settings.
  4. Search for available Bluetooth devices. You should see "T'nB KBWPRO" or a similar name appear in the list.
  5. Select the keyboard from the list to initiate the connection. Your device may prompt you to enter a code displayed on the screen using the keyboard, then press Enter.
  6. Once connected, the indicator light on the keyboard will stop blinking and remain solid for a few seconds before turning off, indicating a successful pairing.

Note: Some older instructions may incorrectly state to use the 'Fn' key during pairing. For this model, simply press and hold the desired Bluetooth channel key (BT1, BT2, or BT3) directly.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your T'nB KBWPRO keyboard, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible Cause / Solution
Keyboard does not pair or connect via Bluetooth.
  • Ensure the keyboard is powered on and fully charged.
  • Make sure the keyboard is in pairing mode (indicator light blinking rapidly) by pressing and holding the desired BT1/BT2/BT3 key for 3 seconds.
  • Check your device's Bluetooth settings and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
  • Remove any previous pairings of the keyboard from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
  • Restart both the keyboard and your device.
Keys are unresponsive or typing is inconsistent (e.g., spacebar issues).
  • Ensure the keyboard is fully charged. Low battery can affect performance.
  • Check for any physical obstructions under the keys.
  • Ensure the keyboard is within the effective range of your Bluetooth device (typically up to 10 meters).
  • Interference from other wireless devices can affect connection stability. Try moving closer to your device or away from other wireless sources.
Incorrect characters appear when typing, or certain keys do not function as expected (e.g., 'Delete' key).
  • Verify that your device's operating system is set to the correct keyboard layout (French AZERTY).
  • Ensure the keyboard is correctly paired to the appropriate operating system mode (Windows or macOS, if applicable, though this keyboard is universally compatible).
Keyboard experiences latency or slow response after waking from sleep mode.
  • This is normal behavior as the keyboard re-establishes its Bluetooth connection. Allow a moment for it to reconnect after pressing a key to wake it up.
  • If latency persists, try re-pairing the keyboard.
Keyboard does not work when connected via USB cable.
  • The USB-C cable is for charging purposes only. The T'nB KBWPRO is a wireless Bluetooth keyboard and does not function as a wired keyboard.
