4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Power Supply Connection

Ensure the voltage setting switch on the power supply is correctly set for your region (115V for US/CA/JP or 230V for UK/EU/Other). Connect the power cord to the power supply terminals as indicated in the wiring diagram.

4.2 Controller and LED Strip Connection

Connect the LED light strips to the corresponding ports on the controller (1-16). The strips are cuttable at 1-inch intervals to fit your stair treads. Ensure the daylight sensor is removed for initial testing and setup.

4.3 Sensor and Switch Installation

Install the motion sensors (Sensor A at the top, Sensor B at the bottom of the stairs) and the daylight sensor. The sensors can be surface-mounted or flush-mounted. Connect the self-reset push switch panels to the controller for manual control options.

5.1 Motion-Activated Lighting

In 'Motion Trigger Mode', the lights will turn on in sequence as movement is detected on the staircase and gradually turn off step by step when no motion is present, providing a smooth lighting effect.

For continuous illumination, you can switch to 'Stay On Mode' using the self-reset push switch. Pressing the switch again will return the system to 'Motion Trigger Mode'.
