4. Installation Guide
The cooktop is designed for built-in installation. A pressure regulator and conversion kit for LPG are included in the package.
4.1 Pre-Installation Checks
- Ensure the installation area is well-ventilated.
- Verify that the gas supply type (Natural Gas or LPG) matches the cooktop's configuration. The cooktop is factory-set for Natural Gas.
- Confirm that the electrical supply meets the 110V AC requirement for ignition.
4.2 Gas Type Conversion (NG to LPG)
If you intend to use LPG (Propane), the burner nozzles must be replaced using the conversion kit provided. This procedure should be performed by a qualified technician.
- Disconnect the cooktop from both gas and electrical supplies.
- Remove the burner caps and burner heads.
- Using an appropriate wrench, carefully remove the installed Natural Gas nozzles.
- Install the corresponding LPG nozzles from the conversion kit into each burner base. Ensure they are securely tightened.
- Reassemble burner heads and caps.
4.3 Countertop Cut-out Dimensions
Ensure your countertop opening matches the required dimensions for a proper fit.
- Cooktop Dimensions: 30 x 20.1 x 4 inches (762 x 510 x 101 mm)
- Cut-out Dimensions: 28.7 x 18.9 inches (729 x 480 mm)

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Lighting a Burner
- Ensure all burner components (caps, heads, grates) are correctly in place.
- Push down and turn the corresponding control knob counter-clockwise to the 'HIGH' flame setting.
- The electronic igniter will click, and the burner should light.
- Once the burner is lit, continue to hold the knob down for a few seconds (approximately 3-5 seconds) to allow the thermocouple to heat up and engage the flame-out protection system. Releasing too soon may cause the flame to extinguish.
5.2 Adjusting Flame
After the burner is lit and stable, you can adjust the flame intensity by rotating the control knob between the 'HIGH' and 'LOW' settings. Always ensure the flame remains under the cookware and does not extend up the sides.
5.3 Turning Off a Burner
To turn off a burner, rotate the control knob clockwise until it clicks into the 'OFF' position. Ensure the flame is completely extinguished.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps maintain the appearance and performance of your cooktop.
6.1 Daily Cleaning
- Allow the cooktop to cool completely before cleaning.
- Gently wipe the stainless steel surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that can scratch the surface.
- Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
6.2 Deep Cleaning (Weekly Recommended)
- Remove the cast iron grates and burner caps. These can be washed with warm soapy water.
- Clean the burner heads and surrounding areas, ensuring no food debris or spills block the gas ports.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your cooktop, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Burner does not light or igniter clicks continuously. | No gas supply; burner ports clogged; igniter dirty or wet; power outage. | Check gas supply valve; clean burner ports; dry igniter; check power connection. |
| Flame is weak or inconsistent. | Low gas pressure; air in gas line (after new installation); incorrect nozzle for gas type. | Contact gas supplier; allow new gas lines to purge air by running burners for a period; ensure correct nozzles are installed for NG/LPG. |
| Flame extinguishes after releasing control knob. | Thermocouple not heated sufficiently; thermocouple faulty. | Hold the control knob down for 3-5 seconds after ignition to allow the thermocouple to heat up. If problem persists, contact support. |
| Gas odor detected. | Gas leak. | Immediately turn off gas supply, ventilate area, do not operate electrical switches, and contact gas supplier or emergency services. |
