1. Important Safety Information
Please read all instructions carefully before using the Waterdrop Alkaline Electric Water Filter Pitcher. Retain this manual for future reference.
- Do not immerse the main unit (dispensing head) in water. Clean with a damp cloth.
- Ensure the charging port is dry before connecting the USB Type-C cable.
- Use only a 5V = 2A adapter for charging (adapter not included).
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
- Do not let the water level exceed the MAX line or fall below the MIN line.
2. Product Overview
The Waterdrop Alkaline Electric Water Filter Pitcher is designed to provide filtered, pH-balanced water with convenience and efficiency.

3. Setup and Initial Use
3.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning
- Remove all components from the packaging.
- Wash the pitcher reservoir and lid with mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Do not wash the electronic dispensing head in a dishwasher or immerse it in water. Wipe it with a damp cloth.
3.2 Filter Installation
- Remove the new filter from its packaging.
- Align the filter with the slot in the dispensing head and push it firmly into place until it clicks.
- Ensure the filter is securely seated to prevent leaks and ensure proper filtration.

3.3 Initial Charging
- Locate the USB Type-C charging port on the side of the dispensing head.
- Open the rubber plug covering the port.
- Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the port and plug the other end into a 5V = 2A adapter (not included).
- The power indicator light will illuminate during charging. Close the rubber plug after charging is complete to protect the port from water.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Filling the Pitcher
- Lift the lid of the pitcher.
- Pour tap water into the reservoir, ensuring the water level stays between the MIN and MAX lines indicated on the pitcher.
- Replace the lid securely.
4.2 Dispensing Water
- Place a glass or container beneath the dispensing spout.
- Gently touch the water drop icon on the top of the dispensing head. The unit will begin dispensing filtered water.
- Touch the water drop icon again to stop dispensing.

4.3 Indicator Lights
- Power Indicator: A small light next to the water drop icon indicates battery status. It will signal when charging is needed.
- Filter Life Indicator: A separate indicator light will notify you when it's time to replace the filter.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Filter Replacement
The filter should be replaced promptly after filtering 200 gallons of water or every 3 months, whichever comes first, to ensure optimal performance and taste. The filter life indicator will alert you when replacement is due.
- Remove the dispensing head from the pitcher.
- Twist and pull out the old filter from the dispensing head.
- Insert a new Waterdrop WD-EDFA replacement filter (sold separately) into the dispensing head until it clicks securely.
- Reattach the dispensing head to the pitcher.

5.2 Cleaning
- Regularly clean the pitcher reservoir and lid with mild soap and water.
- Wipe the exterior of the dispensing head with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the dispensing head in water.
- Ensure all parts are dry before reassembly.
6. Troubleshooting
- No water dispenses: Check if the battery is charged. Recharge the unit if the power indicator is low. Ensure the filter is correctly installed.
- Slow water flow: The filter may be clogged or nearing the end of its life. Replace the filter if necessary.
- Water tastes unusual: Replace the filter. Ensure the pitcher and filter are clean.
- Indicator lights not working: Ensure the unit is charged. If issues persist, contact customer support.
