Setup
Powering the Device
The ChessGenius Pro can be powered by four AA batteries or an optional AC adapter (sold separately).
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the board.
- Open the battery cover and insert four AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Alternatively, connect the optional AC adapter to the power port on the side of the board.

Initial Setup and Power-On
- Place the chess pieces in their starting positions on the board. The magnetic base of the pieces will help them stay in place.
- Press the power button (usually marked with a circle and vertical line) to turn on the device. The color LCD display will illuminate.
- The display will show the initial chess board setup and may prompt you to select a language or game mode.

Operating Instructions
Basic Gameplay
To make a move, gently press down on the square of the piece you wish to move, then press down on the destination square. The board's sensor technology will register your move. The color display will update to show the move and the current state of the game.

Navigating Menus and Play Levels
Use the arrow buttons and 'SELECT' button to navigate through the menus on the LCD display. You can adjust various settings, including play levels, game modes, and access training features.
