Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to set up your TECKNET doorbell system:
1. Install Batteries in Receivers
- Open the battery compartment on the back of each receiver.
- Insert three AA batteries into each receiver. Ensure correct polarity (+/-). (Batteries are not included).
- Close the battery compartment.
2. Install Battery in Transmitter
The transmitter requires one CR2032 battery. This battery is typically pre-installed or included separately. If not, install it ensuring correct polarity.
3. Mount the Transmitter
The transmitter can be mounted using either screws or double-sided adhesive tape.
- Using Screws:
- Separate the back plate from the transmitter unit.
- Mark the desired mounting location on your wall or door frame.
- Drill pilot holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
- Secure the back plate to the surface using the provided screws.
- Attach the transmitter unit to the secured back plate.
- Using Adhesive Tape:
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly to ensure it is dry and free of dust or grease.
- Apply the double-sided adhesive tape to the back of the transmitter.
- Press the transmitter firmly onto the desired location for at least 30 seconds.

4. Place the Receivers

1. Selecting Melodies
Your doorbell offers 60 classic melodies. To change the melody:
- Press the 'Song' button (usually indicated by a music note icon) on the receiver to cycle through the available melodies.
- The doorbell features a memory function, which means it will remember your last selected melody and volume level even after a power interruption or battery change.
2. Adjusting Volume Levels
There are 5 adjustable volume levels, ranging from 0 dB (silent) to 110 dB.
- Press the 'Volume' button (usually indicated by a speaker icon) on the receiver to adjust the volume.
- Continue pressing until you reach your desired volume level.
- To activate silent mode (0 dB), press and hold the 'Song' button for three seconds. In silent mode, the RGB lights will still flash to indicate a visitor. This feature is particularly useful for the hearing impaired.
The doorbell offers 5 volume levels, from silent (0dB) to very loud (110dB), to suit different environments and needs.
3. RGB Flashing Lights
