Setup and Preparation

1. Unpacking

• Remove all packaging materials and inspect the steamer for any damage.
• Ensure all components are present: steamer unit, water tank.

2. Filling the Water Tank

1. Ensure the steamer is unplugged from the power outlet.
2. Remove the water tank from the main unit.
3. Open the rubber stopper on the water tank.
4. Fill the tank with distilled, purified, or filtered water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
5. Securely close the rubber stopper and reattach the water tank to the steamer unit.

3. Folding and Unfolding

• To unfold: Gently pull the steam head upwards until it locks into the upright position.
• To fold: Press the release button (if present, typically near the hinge) and gently push the steam head downwards until it clicks into the folded position.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On and Heating

1. Plug the steamer into a suitable electrical outlet. The dual voltage system will automatically adjust.
2. Press the power button. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the steamer is heating up.
3. Wait approximately 35 seconds for the steamer to reach operating temperature. The indicator light may change or stop flashing when ready.

2. Steaming Garments

The steamer can be used for both vertical steaming and horizontal dry ironing.

• Vertical Steaming: Hang the garment on a hanger. Hold the steamer upright, keeping the steam plate a few inches away from the fabric. Gently glide the steamer downwards over the wrinkles. For stubborn wrinkles, you may press the steam plate lightly against the fabric.
• Horizontal Dry Ironing: Place the garment on a heat-resistant surface like an ironing board. Use the steamer like a traditional iron, pressing the hot plate directly onto the fabric to smooth out wrinkles. Ensure the water tank is filled for steam, or use it dry for light pressing.

3. Fabric Compatibility

This steamer is suitable for a wide range of fabrics, including:

Always test on an inconspicuous area of the fabric first, especially for delicate materials.

Maintenance and Storage

1. Cleaning the Water Tank

• After each use, unplug the steamer and allow it to cool completely.
• Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
• Rinse the tank with clean water.
• Leave the rubber stopper open to allow the tank to air dry completely before storing.

2. Descaling (Recommended Monthly)

To prevent mineral buildup, especially if not using distilled water, descaling is recommended:

1. Mix a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water.
2. Fill the water tank with this solution.
3. Plug in the steamer and allow it to heat up.
4. Steam the solution until the tank is empty. Do this in a well-ventilated area.
5. Refill the tank with fresh distilled water and steam until empty to rinse out any vinegar residue.

3. Storage

• Ensure the steamer is completely cool and dry before storing.
• Fold the steam head for compact storage.
• Store the steamer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
