Setup

1. Initial Opening

Upon receiving your safe, use one of the emergency keys to open it for the first time. Insert the key into the keyhole, turn it clockwise, and simultaneously turn the knob to open the door.

2. Battery Installation

Locate the battery compartment inside the safe door. Insert 4 AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery compartment cover.

3. Setting Your Digital Code

  1. With the safe door open, locate the red reset button on the inside of the door (refer to Figure 2).
  2. Press the red reset button. You will hear a beep, and the yellow indicator light on the keypad will illuminate.
  3. Within 5 seconds, enter your desired 3-8 digit code on the keypad, then press the "#" button.
  4. The safe will beep twice, and the yellow light will turn off, indicating the new code is set.
  5. Test the new code with the door open before closing it. Enter your code, then press "#". Turn the knob to confirm it opens.

Important: If the yellow light flashes and the safe beeps three times, the code was not set correctly. Repeat the steps.

4. Mounting Instructions

For enhanced security, it is recommended to mount the safe to a wall or floor using the provided expansion bolts.

  1. Choose a suitable location for mounting.
  2. Mark the positions for drilling through the pre-drilled holes on the back or bottom of the safe.
  3. Drill pilot holes in the wall or floor using an appropriate drill bit.
  4. Align the safe with the drilled holes and insert the expansion bolts.
  5. Tighten the bolts securely to fix the safe in place.

Operating Instructions

1. Opening with Digital Code

  1. Enter your 3-8 digit code.
  2. Press the "#" button.
  3. The green indicator light will illuminate. Within 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.

2. Opening with Emergency Key

In case of forgotten code or dead batteries, use the emergency key:

  1. Remove the small cover plate next to the knob to reveal the emergency keyhole.
  2. Insert the emergency key and turn it clockwise.
  3. Simultaneously turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.

Note: Always keep emergency keys stored outside the safe in a secure location.

3. Alarm System

The safe is equipped with an intelligent alarm system. If three consecutive incorrect password attempts are made, a loud 70-decibel alarm will sound. The alarm will also activate if the safe experiences strong vibrations or tampering.

4. Silent Mode

To operate the safe without audible beeps (e.g., for nighttime use), activate silent mode. Consult the full manual for specific instructions on enabling/disabling silent mode, as this feature may vary.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the safe's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries annually or when the low battery indicator light appears. Always use 4 new AA batteries.
  • Lock Mechanism: Do not lubricate the lock mechanism. If the lock feels stiff, contact customer support.
