3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the camera's built-in battery using the provided USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the camera and a standard 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included). A full charge ensures optimal performance and battery life, especially before relying solely on solar power.

3.3 Wi-Fi Connection

The camera supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks only. Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz signal. 5GHz networks are not supported.

  1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
  2. In the "O-KAM Pro" app, tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. This typically involves scanning a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera lens.
  4. Once connected, the camera will indicate successful pairing (e.g., a voice prompt or LED indicator change).

4. Operation

4.1 Live View and PTZ Control

Once the camera is connected, open the "O-KAM Pro" app to access the live video feed. You can control the camera's pan (horizontal) and tilt (vertical) movements directly from the app to view different areas. Use the pinch-to-zoom gesture on your screen to utilize the 8X hybrid zoom feature.
