Setup

1. Battery Installation

The monitor requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit. Insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+ and -) inside the compartment. Close the cover securely.

2. Applying the Wrist Cuff

Ensure you are relaxed and have been inactive for at least 15 minutes before taking a measurement. The standard adult wrist cuff measures 5.3”–8.5”.

  1. Fasten the Cuff: Wrap the cuff snugly around your left wrist, with the display facing upwards on the inside of your wrist. The cuff should be positioned approximately 0.4”–0.8” (1-2 cm) from the bend of your wrist.
  2. Align Unit with Wrist: Confirm that the unit is positioned correctly, not too close to your hand or elbow.
  3. Position Your Arm: Rest your arm on a flat surface, such as a table, and raise the unit to heart level. This ensures accurate readings.

Understanding Your Readings

  • SYS (Systolic Pressure): The top number, indicating the pressure in your arteries when your heart beats.
  • DIA (Diastolic Pressure): The bottom number, indicating the pressure in your arteries between beats.
  • PUL (Pulse Rate): Your heart rate, measured in beats per minute.
  • Irregular Heartbeat Detection: The monitor can detect irregular heartbeats and display an indicator if detected. This helps identify arrhythmias or palpitations.
  • Visual BP Guide: The color-coded bar on the left side of the display provides a quick visual reference for your blood pressure category based on internationally established standards.
