4. Setup and Operating Instructions

4.1 Unfolding the Ladder

1. Place the folded ladder on a flat, stable surface.
2. Grasp the top handle and gently pull the front and back sections apart.
3. Continue opening until the safety locking mechanism under the top step clicks into place. Ensure this mechanism is fully engaged before stepping onto the ladder.

4.2 Using the Ladder

1. Verify the ladder is stable and the safety lock is engaged.
2. Ascend the ladder facing the steps, maintaining a firm grip on the handrail.
3. Always keep your body centered between the side rails. Avoid leaning too far to one side.
4. Use the wide pedals for secure footing.
5. For tasks requiring tools, utilize the top platform.

4.3 Folding the Ladder for Storage

1. Ensure no items are left on the top platform or steps.
2. Locate the yellow safety locking mechanism under the top step.
3. Lift the yellow lock to disengage the mechanism.
4. Gently push the front and back sections of the ladder together until it folds flat.
5. Store the folded ladder in a dry, safe place.
