Please read all instructions carefully before using your Russell Hobbs RHDAF11 Dual Air Fryer. Retain this manual for future reference.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your local mains voltage before connecting. Do not immerse the appliance, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
- Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and other appliances to allow adequate air circulation. Do not place near flammable materials.
- Hot Surfaces: Surfaces of the appliance become hot during use. Use oven mitts when handling hot components. Always allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
- Children and Supervision: This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

2. Product Overview
The Russell Hobbs RHDAF11 is an 8-litre dual air fryer designed for efficient cooking with minimal oil. It features two independent 4-litre cooking drawers, a digital control panel, and multiple preset functions.

3. Setup and First Use
3.1 Unpacking
- Remove all packaging materials from the air fryer.
- Check that all components are present and undamaged.
3.2 Initial Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
- Wash the cooking drawers and crisper plates with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Ensure all parts are dry before plugging in the appliance.
3.3 Placement
- Place the air fryer on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure there is at least 15 cm of clear space around the back and sides of the appliance for proper ventilation.
3.4 First Use (Burn-off)
During the first few uses, a slight odor may be noticeable. This is normal and will dissipate. To minimize this, run the air fryer empty for approximately 10-15 minutes:
- Insert the clean cooking drawers and crisper plates into the main unit.
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Set the temperature to 200°C and the timer to 15 minutes.
- Allow the cycle to complete. The odor should diminish.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Control Panel Overview

- Power Button: Turns the appliance on/off.
- Temperature Controls (Up/Down Arrows): Adjust cooking temperature.
- Time Controls (Up/Down Arrows): Adjust cooking time.
- Preset Functions: Buttons for Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Dehydrate, Defrost, Reheat.
- MEAL Button: Synchronizes cooking times for both drawers.
- DUAL Button: Allows independent settings for each drawer.
- Start/Pause Button: Initiates or pauses the cooking cycle.
- Drawer Indicators (1 & 2): Selects which drawer to program.
4.2 Basic Air Frying
- Place food in one or both cooking drawers, ensuring not to overfill.
- Insert the drawers into the main unit.
- Press the Power button.
- Select the desired drawer (1 or 2) using the corresponding button.
- Adjust the temperature using the temperature arrows.
- Adjust the cooking time using the time arrows (up to 60 minutes).
- Press the Start/Pause button to begin cooking.
- The appliance will beep when cooking is complete. Carefully remove the drawers.
4.3 Using Preset Functions
The air fryer includes 6 preset functions for common cooking tasks:
- Air Fry: For crispy foods like chips, chicken wings.
- Roast: For meats and vegetables.
- Bake: For cakes, pastries.
- Dehydrate: For drying fruits or making jerky.
- Defrost: For thawing frozen items.
- Reheat: For warming up leftovers.
To use a preset:
- Place food in the drawer(s).
- Press the Power button.
- Select the desired drawer (1 or 2).
- Press the button corresponding to the desired preset function. The default time and temperature will display.
- Adjust time and temperature if necessary.
- Press the Start/Pause button.
4.4 Dual Zone Cooking (MEAL & DUAL)
- DUAL: Allows you to set different temperatures and times for each drawer independently. Select Drawer 1, set its parameters, then select Drawer 2 and set its parameters. Press Start/Pause.
- MEAL: Synchronizes the cooking end time for both drawers, even if they have different cooking times. Set parameters for Drawer 1, then for Drawer 2. Press MEAL, then Start/Pause. The air fryer will automatically adjust the start times so both finish together.
4.5 Intelligent Pause
The air fryer features an intelligent pause function. If you remove a cooking drawer during operation, the cooking cycle for that drawer will automatically pause. Reinserting the drawer will resume the cooking cycle from where it left off.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your air fryer.
5.1 Cleaning the Cooking Drawers and Crisper Plates
- Unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely.
- Remove the cooking drawers and crisper plates.
- Wash them in warm, soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn food residue, soak them in warm water for 10-15 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling or storing.
- These parts are generally dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to prolong the non-stick coating.
5.2 Cleaning the Main Unit
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged and cool.
- Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Clean the interior heating element area with a soft brush if necessary, ensuring no food particles remain.
- Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
5.3 Storage
When not in use, ensure the air fryer is clean, dry, and unplugged. Store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging or covered to protect it from dust.
6. Troubleshooting
