  3. Connect USB-C Display: Connect your USB-C display device (e.g., AR glasses like RayNeo, XREAL Air, Rokid Air, or a portable monitor) to the USB-C OUT port of the adapter using a compatible USB-C video cable.

3.3. Specific Connection Scenarios

Connecting to PlayStation 5 and AR Glasses

  1. Plug the PlayStation 5 console into a power source.

  4. Connect your RayNeo Air Series Glasses to the adapter's AR glasses port via the glasses' USB-C cable.
  5. Turn on the adapter and your console. The game will be displayed on the glasses.

Connecting to Nintendo Switch and AR Glasses

  1. Place your Nintendo Switch into its dock.

  2. Connect the HDMI Adapter to the iPhone or iPad using an Apple's official Lightning Digital AV Adapter.
  3. Plug the USB-C cable of the AR glasses into the HDMI Adapter's AR Glasses port and the port of the RayNeo Air series glasses.
  4. Your iPhone or iPad screen will be displayed on the glasses.

Note: The Lightning connector may require careful handling. Apply gentle upward and downward wiggling motions to loosen it for smoother extraction.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the power button on the adapter for 2 seconds. The LED indicator will stay lit.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. The LED indicator will turn off.
  • The adapter will turn off automatically after 1 minute when there's no connection.

4.2. Display Modes

When connecting to a laptop or PC, you can typically choose between:

  • Mirror Mode: Duplicates your primary display onto the connected USB-C display.
  • Extend Mode: Extends your desktop across both displays, allowing for more workspace.

To change display modes on Windows, press "Win + P" and select your preferred option.

5. Maintenance

  • Keep the adapter in a dry environment and away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.

  • Avoid bending or twisting the cables excessively to prevent damage.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Audio/Video Output:
    • Ensure all cables are securely connected.
    • Verify the adapter is properly powered (LED indicator is lit).
    • Check that your source device (e.g., PC, console) is outputting an HDMI signal.
    • Confirm your USB-C display device supports audio and video transmission via USB-C.
    • For XREAL One glasses: If no audio/video, double-click "X Key" to enter Settings Mode, click "-" Key to enter Sound Mode, then select "DP Mode" for Audio Protocol. Also, select XREAL One for HDMI output device sound.
    • Update the firmware version of your AR glasses to the latest version.
  • Adapter Not Working Properly:
    • Disconnect and reconnect the USB-C OUT port of the adapter.
    • If the adapter needs to be connected/disconnected from power, reconnect the adapter's USB-C OUT port after power cycling.
    • Ensure the connected device supports audio and video transmission.
  • Incompatible Devices:
    • This adapter only supports HDMI to USB-C direction switching. Reverse (USB-C to HDMI) is not supported.
    • Not compatible with all Meta series devices.
    • Does not work with LG Ultrafine 5K Display.
    • Cannot be connected to other adapters in series.
  • Low Battery Indication:
    • When the battery capacity remains less than 10%, the LED indicator will flash rapidly to remind you of a recharge.
    • When charging, the LED indicator will flash slowly and will stay lit on fully charged.
