3. Setup and Installation
Professional installation is highly recommended for this car stereo system. Incorrect installation can lead to damage to the unit or your vehicle's electrical system. Ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected before beginning installation.
3.1 Wiring Connections
Refer to the wiring diagram provided in the 'What's in the Box' section (Figure 2.1) and the labels on the cables for correct connections. Key connections include:
- Power Cable: Connect to the vehicle's power harness. Ensure ACC, B+, and Ground are correctly matched.
- USB Cables (4Pin & 6Pin): For connecting USB devices, such as flash drives or for wired CarPlay/Android Auto.
- GPS Antenna: Mount in a location with a clear view of the sky for optimal signal reception.
- AHD Rear View Camera: Connect the camera's video output to the 'CAM IN' input on the stereo. Ensure the reverse trigger wire is connected to the vehicle's reverse light signal.
- RCA Cables: For external audio/video input/output, including subwoofer output.
- Steering Wheel Control (SWC) Wires: Connect to your vehicle's SWC wires for button functionality.
3.2 Initial Power-On and Basic Settings

4.1 Android 12 System Overview

4.2 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto
Connect your smartphone wirelessly for seamless integration of navigation, music, calls, and messages.
- For CarPlay (iPhone): Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your iPhone. Pair your iPhone with the car stereo via Bluetooth. Once paired, CarPlay should automatically launch.
- For Android Auto (Android Phone): Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your Android phone. Pair your phone with the car stereo via Bluetooth. Android Auto should launch automatically.
- Voice Control: Use Siri or Google Assistant for hands-free operation.
4.3 Mirror Link (Wireless/Wired)
Project your smartphone screen onto the car stereo display.
- Wireless: Follow the on-screen instructions in the 'Mirror Link' app on the stereo to connect your phone via Wi-Fi.

4.4 IPS Touchscreen Operation
