4. Assembly & Installation
4.1. High-Back Booster Installation
- Place the Cambria 2XT XL booster seat flat on the vehicle seat.
- Locate the LATCH connectors at the front of the booster seat base.
- Attach both LATCH connectors to the vehicle's lower anchor bars.
- Push the booster seat firmly into the vehicle seat while pulling the front adjuster straps to tighten the LATCH system. Ensure the seat is secure and does not move more than 1 inch side-to-side or front-to-back.
- Extend the vehicle's lap and shoulder seat belt.
- Feed the lap portion of the seat belt under the armrest and through the red lap belt guide.
- Feed the shoulder portion of the seat belt through the red upper belt guide located near the headrest.
- Buckle the seat belt, ensuring it lies flat across your child's hips and collarbone, not on the stomach or neck.
- Adjust the headrest height so the shoulder belt guide is just above your child's shoulders.
