5. Operating Instructions

Adjusting Shelves:

To adjust the height of the shelves, remove all items from the shelf. Carefully lift the shelf and remove the four shelf pegs from their current slots. Reinsert the pegs into the desired slots at the new height, ensuring they are level, then place the shelf back onto the pegs. This allows for flexible storage of items of varying sizes.

Using the Locking Mechanism:

The cabinet features a 3-point locking system for the main doors and a separate lock for the drawer. Insert the corresponding key into the lock and turn to secure or unlock. Always ensure the doors and drawer are fully closed before locking. Keep the spare key in a safe, accessible location.

Moving the Cabinet:

To move the cabinet, ensure all items are securely placed and doors/drawer are closed. Unlock the wheels by flipping the lever on each wheel. Carefully push or pull the cabinet to its new location. Once in position, lock all wheels to prevent unintended movement.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning:

To clean the cabinet, simply wipe surfaces with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the powder-coated finish.

Regular Inspection:

Periodically check all fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Inspect the wheels for smooth operation and ensure the locking mechanism functions correctly. Lubricate moving parts like door hinges and drawer slides if necessary.

7. Troubleshooting

Cabinet is unstable or wobbles:

  • Ensure all assembly screws are fully tightened.
  • Verify the cabinet is placed on a level surface. Adjust the leveling feet (if present) or reposition the cabinet.
  • Distribute stored items evenly to maintain balance.

Doors do not close properly or are misaligned:

  • Check for any obstructions preventing the doors from closing.
  • Inspect hinges for damage or loose screws. Tighten or adjust as needed.
  • Ensure the cabinet frame is square and not twisted from uneven assembly.

Wheels do not lock effectively:

  • Ensure the locking lever on each wheel is fully engaged.
  • Check for debris or damage to the wheel locking mechanism. Clean or replace if necessary.
  • For added stability, especially with heavy loads, consider placing weights in the bottom of the cabinet when stationary.
