Setup & Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your WAYXIN M910 intercom on your helmet:

1. Choose Mounting Location: Select a suitable flat surface on the side of your helmet for the intercom unit.
2. Attach Clamp/Adhesive Mount: Secure the mounting bracket (either clamp or adhesive) to the helmet. Ensure it is firmly attached.
3. Install Speakers: Place the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets. Ensure they are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound.
4. Install Microphone: Choose the appropriate microphone (boom mic for open-face/flip-up helmets, soft wire mic for full-face helmets). Attach it to the inside of the helmet near your mouth.
5. Connect Cables: Plug the speaker and microphone cables into the corresponding ports on the M910 intercom unit.
6. Mount Intercom Unit: Slide the M910 unit onto the installed mounting bracket until it clicks securely into place.
7. Cable Management: Tuck away any excess cables neatly within the helmet padding to avoid interference and ensure comfort.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator light turns off.

Bluetooth Pairing (with Phone/GPS)

1. Ensure the M910 is powered off.
2. Press and hold the Power Button for about 5-7 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your smartphone or GPS device, enable Bluetooth and search for "WAYXIN M910".
4. Select "WAYXIN M910" to connect. Once paired, the indicator light will flash blue slowly.

Intercom Pairing (with other M910 units)

1. Ensure both M910 units are powered on.
2. On both units, press and hold the Intercom Button (usually the large multi-function button) for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator lights flash red and blue rapidly.
3. The units will automatically search and pair with each other. Once connected, the indicator lights will flash blue slowly.
4. Repeat this process for additional units (up to 6 riders).

Phone Call Management

• Answer Call: A call will be automatically answered after 10 seconds. Alternatively, short press the Phone Button.
• End Call: Short press the Phone Button.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Phone Button for 2 seconds.
• Redial Last Number: Double-press the Phone Button.

Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Short press the Multi-function Button.
• Next Track: Short press the Volume Up (+) button.
• Previous Track: Short press the Volume Down (-) button.
• Volume Adjustment: Long press the Volume Up (+) or Volume Down (-) button.

Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant)

• Activate: Double-press the Multi-function Button to activate your smartphone's voice assistant (Siri or Google Assistant).
• You can then issue commands like "Play music," "Call [contact name]," "Open Google Maps," or "What's the weather like?"

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your M910 intercom:

• Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before cleaning.
• Water Exposure: Although IP67 waterproof, avoid prolonged submersion. If exposed to heavy rain, wipe the unit dry with a clean towel and allow it to air dry in a well-ventilated area before storing or charging.
• Storage: Store the intercom in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% every few months to preserve battery health.
