2. Safety Information

5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the safe from its packaging. Inspect for any damage. Keep all packaging materials until you are satisfied with the product.

5.2 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the electronic keypad.
2. Insert 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.3 Initial Code Setup

1. With the safe door open, locate the reset button on the inside of the door, near the battery compartment.
2. Press the reset button. The keypad will beep, and an indicator light will flash.
3. Enter your desired 3-8 digit code on the keypad, then press the '#' key.
4. Test the new code with the door open before closing it.

5.4 Mounting the Safe

Mounting the safe to a wall or floor is highly recommended for security and stability. The safe is designed for wall mounting.

1. Choose a suitable location, preferably a discreet and secure area.
2. Mark the desired drilling points through the pre-drilled holes at the back of the safe.
3. Drill pilot holes in the wall using an appropriate drill bit.
4. Align the safe with the drilled holes and insert the provided expansion bolts.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Opening with Electronic Code

1. Enter your 3-8 digit code on the keypad.
2. Press the '#' key.
3. Rotate the handle clockwise to open the door.

6.2 Opening with Master Key

In case of electronic lock malfunction or forgotten code:

1. Locate the keyhole cover on the keypad panel.
2. Remove the cover.
3. Insert the master key and turn it.
4. Simultaneously rotate the handle clockwise to open the door.

6.3 Using the Emergency Power Box

If the internal batteries are depleted and the electronic lock does not respond:

1. Connect the emergency power box to the external power port on the keypad.
2. Enter your electronic code on the keypad.
3. Rotate the handle clockwise to open the door.

Important: Do not lock the emergency power box or the master keys inside the safe.

If an incorrect password is entered 5 consecutive times, the system will lock for 5 minutes. During this period, the password cannot be used.
