4. Setup Guide
4.1 Placement

4.3 Connecting Audio Sources

- Analog Inputs (CD, LINE 1/2): Use RCA cables to connect external audio components like CD players or other line-level devices.

4.4 Network Connection
Connect the receiver to your home network for streaming services and MusicCast functionality.
- Wired Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the NETWORK terminal on the rear panel.
- Wireless Connection (Wi-Fi): Attach the included Wi-Fi/Bluetooth antenna to the rear panel. Follow the on-screen instructions or use the MusicCast app to configure Wi-Fi settings.
4.5 YPAO Automatic Room Calibration
The YPAO (Yamaha Parametric Room Acoustic Optimizer) system automatically analyzes room acoustics and adjusts audio settings for optimal sound quality.
- Connect the supplied YPAO microphone to the YPAO MIC jack on the front panel.
- Place the microphone at your primary listening position, ideally at ear height.

5. Operation
5.1 Basic Controls (Front Panel)

- Input Selector: Rotates to select the desired audio input source (CD, Phono, Line, Optical, Coaxial, USB DAC, Net).
- Volume Knob: Adjusts the overall output volume.

6. Maintenance
