5.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the Pen Scanner. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the device and the other end to a 5V1A USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.

5.2 Power On/Off

• To power on: Press and hold the power button (one of the 3 keys) until the screen illuminates.
• To power off: Press and hold the power button until a power-off prompt appears on the screen, then confirm.

5.3 Network Connection

For online translation and updates, connect the device to a Wi-Fi network or mobile hotspot. Navigate to the settings menu on the device, select "Network" or "Wi-Fi," and choose your desired network. Enter the password if prompted.

6.1 Scanning and Translation (OCR)

To scan text, select the "Scan Translate" function from the main menu. Position the scanning head (located at the bottom of the pen) over the text you wish to scan. Ensure the text is well-lit. Gently slide the pen across the line of text. The scanned text will appear on the screen instantly. If translation is enabled, the translated text will also be displayed.

6.2 Voice Translation

Select the "Voice Translate" function. Press and hold the voice input button (usually a dedicated button or an on-screen icon) and speak clearly into the device's microphone. Release the button when finished. The device will process your speech and provide a translation, which can be played back through the speaker.

6.3 Dictionary Function

Access the "Dictionary" function to look up words. You can either type the word using the on-screen keyboard or scan it directly from a printed source. The device provides definitions and usage examples from its built-in dictionaries.

The "Excerpt" function allows you to save scanned text snippets for later review or export. The "Smart Record" feature enables intelligent voice recording, useful for lectures or meetings, with options for transcription or translation.

Adjust the device's volume using the dedicated volume buttons located on the side of the pen. Press the '+' button to increase volume and the '-' button to decrease it.
