4. Setup

4.1. Charging Your Speaker

Before first use, fully charge your EcoEdge Pro speaker. The charging port is located under a protective flap on the side of the speaker. Use the provided charging cable to connect the speaker to a USB power source.

4.2. Power On/Off

• To power on, open the protective flap on the side and locate the power switch. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position.
• To power off, slide the switch to the 'OFF' position.

4.3. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a blinking blue LED).
2. On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
3. Select "ECOXGEAR EcoEdge Pro" from the list of available devices.
4. Once connected, the speaker will provide an audible confirmation, and the Bluetooth LED will turn solid blue.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Volume Control

Use the volume up (+) and volume down (-) buttons on the speaker to adjust the audio level. You can also control the volume from your connected device.

5.2. LED Party Lights

Press the light button on the speaker's control panel to cycle through the 20 different LED party modes. Press and hold the button to turn the lights off.

5.3. EcoCast Pairing (Connecting Multiple Speakers)

The EcoEdge Pro supports EcoCast, allowing you to wirelessly connect up to 100 compatible ECOXGEAR speakers for a larger soundstage.

1. Ensure all speakers are powered on and not currently connected via Bluetooth to any device.
2. On the first speaker (the 'master' speaker), press and hold the EcoCast button until it announces 'EcoCast Transmitting'.
3. On the second speaker (the 'receiving' speaker), press and hold the EcoCast button until it announces 'EcoCast Receiving'.
4. The speakers will automatically connect. Repeat for additional speakers.

5.4. EcoTalk Voice Assistant

Press the EcoTalk button on the speaker to activate your device's voice assistant (Siri or OK Google). This allows for hands-free control of your music and other smart device functions.

5.5. Waterproof Usage

The EcoEdge Pro is IPX7 waterproof. Ensure the protective flap covering the charging port is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water. Do not submerge the speaker deeper than 1 meter (3 feet) or for longer than 30 minutes.
