Important Safety Information

• This appliance is for indoor household use only. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
• Do not allow children to operate the vacuum cleaner. Close supervision is necessary when used near children.
• Do not pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
• Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
• Do not use with a damaged cord or plug. If the appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
• Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before servicing.
• Exercise extra care when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not use without dust cup and/or filters in place.
• Battery safety: The Akitas U10 uses a 22.2V Li-ion battery. Do not expose the battery to high temperatures or direct sunlight. Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the battery pack. Use only the charger specified by the manufacturer.

Setup and Initial Use

1. Assembly:

1. Unpack all components from the packaging.
2. Attach the extension tube to the main unit by aligning the connectors and pushing until it clicks into place.
3. Connect the motorized floor head to the other end of the extension tube, ensuring a secure connection.
4. For handheld use, detach the main unit from the extension tube and attach desired accessories directly.

2. Initial Charging:

Before first use, fully charge the vacuum cleaner. The Akitas U10 features an auto-recharge station.

1. Place the vacuum cleaner onto the charging base. Ensure the contacts align correctly.
2. Connect the charging base to a power outlet.
3. The charging indicator lights will illuminate, indicating that charging has begun.
4. Allow approximately 4-5 hours for a full charge. The vacuum will automatically stop charging when the battery is full.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off:

• To turn on the vacuum, press the "Machine Switch" button located on the handle (refer to Figure 2).
• Press the button again to turn off the vacuum.

2. Switching Modes (Upright/Handheld):

• Upright Mode: Use the vacuum fully assembled with the extension tube and motorized floor head for general floor cleaning.
• Handheld Mode: Press the "Handheld Mode Switch Button" (refer to Figure 2) to detach the main unit. This allows for portable cleaning.

3. Using Attachments:

• The 2-in-1 crevice tool can be attached directly to the handheld unit for cleaning narrow gaps, upholstery, and delicate surfaces.

4. Suction Modes:

The Akitas U10 offers two speed options for varying cleaning needs.

• Standard Mode: Suitable for everyday cleaning and hard floors.
• Turbo Mode: Provides extra suction power for deep cleaning carpets, pet hair, and stubborn debris.

5. Storage:

The Akitas U10 features a foldable design for convenient storage.

• Press the "Fold Button" (refer to Figure 2) to fold the handle down from the upright position. This allows for compact storage in closets or smaller spaces.
• The vacuum is also freestanding, allowing it to stand upright on its own for temporary storage during cleaning breaks.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Akitas U10 vacuum cleaner.

1. Emptying the Dustbin:

• The Akitas U10 features a large 0.8L dustbin. Empty the dustbin regularly, ideally after each use or when the MAX fill line is reached.
• To empty, detach the dustbin from the main unit. Open the dustbin lid and dispose of collected debris.

2. Cleaning Filters:

The vacuum uses a HEPA filter system. Filters should be cleaned regularly to maintain suction power.

• Remove the filter assembly from the dustbin.
• Tap the filters gently over a trash can to remove loose dust.
• The filters are washable. Rinse them under cold running water until the water runs clear.
• Allow filters to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting them into the vacuum. Do not use a dryer or other heating device.

3. Cleaning the Brush Roller:

The motorized floor head features an anti-tangle roller designed to minimize hair wrapping.

• Periodically check the brush roller for tangled hair or debris.
• To access the roller, unlock the brush bar cover on the floor head.
• Remove any tangled hair or fibers using scissors if necessary.
• Reinsert the brush roller and secure the cover.
