1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and proper installation and use of your ONKRON FM1 Fixed TV Wall Mount.

The ONKRON FM1 is designed for televisions ranging from 17 to 43 inches, with a maximum weight capacity of 30 kg (66 lbs). It supports VESA mounting patterns from 75x75 mm to 200x200 mm.

This mount offers a slim profile, positioning your TV approximately 30 mm (1 1/8 inches) from the wall.

2. Important Safety Information

Please read and understand all instructions before attempting installation. Failure to do so may result in personal injury, property damage, or voiding of your warranty.

• Ensure the mounting surface (wall) can safely support the combined weight of the mount and your television.
• Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 30 kg (66 lbs).
• Use appropriate tools and safety equipment during installation.
• If you are unsure about any part of the installation process, consult a qualified professional.
• Keep children and pets away from the installation area.

3. Package Contents

Verify that all components are present and undamaged before beginning installation. If any parts are missing or damaged, do not proceed with installation and contact customer support.

5. Setup and Installation

5.1. Tools Required (Not Included)

• Electric Drill
• Stud Finder (for wood stud walls)
• Pencil
• Phillips Head Screwdriver
• Measuring Tape

5.2. Installation Steps

1. Prepare the Wall:
   • Determine the desired height for your TV.
   • For wood stud walls, use a stud finder to locate the center of two adjacent studs. Mark these locations.
   • For concrete or brick walls, mark the desired drilling points.
   • Hold the wall plate against the wall at the marked locations and use the integrated spirit level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drilling holes.
2. Drill Holes and Attach Wall Plate:
   • Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. The drill bit size will depend on your wall type and chosen anchors/screws.
   • Insert wall anchors (if required for concrete/brick).
   • Position the wall plate over the drilled holes and secure it firmly to the wall using the appropriate screws and washers from the hardware kit. Ensure it is tightly fastened.
3. Attach TV Brackets to TV:
   • Lay your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
   • Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
   • Select the correct size screws and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA holes.
   • Attach the two TV brackets to the back of your TV, ensuring they are oriented correctly (hooks facing upwards and towards the center of the TV). Tighten the screws securely, but do not overtighten.
4. Mount TV to Wall Plate:
   • With assistance, carefully lift the TV and hook the TV brackets onto the top edge of the wall plate.
   • Gently lower the TV until the brackets are fully seated on the wall plate.
5. Secure TV to Mount:
   • Locate the Click'n'Pull release strings hanging from the bottom of the TV brackets.
   • Push the bottom of the TV towards the wall until the locking mechanism engages. The Click'n'Pull strings should be accessible but not under tension.
   • Gently pull the strings to ensure the lock is engaged. If the TV can be easily lifted off, the lock is not engaged.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Attaching the TV

Follow steps 4 and 5 in the 'Setup and Installation' section to securely attach your TV to the wall mount.

6.2. Removing the TV

To remove the TV from the mount, gently pull the plastic Click'n'Pull strings downwards. This action will release the locking mechanism, allowing you to carefully lift the TV off the wall plate. Ensure you have assistance when removing the TV to prevent accidental drops.

7. Maintenance

• Periodic Checks: Periodically (e.g., every 6-12 months), check all screws and connections on both the wall plate and TV brackets to ensure they remain secure. Tighten any loose fasteners.
• Cleaning: Clean the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the finish.

8. Troubleshooting

• Issue: TV is not level after installation.
  Solution: Before fully tightening the wall plate screws, use the integrated spirit level to ensure perfect horizontal alignment. If already tightened, you may need to slightly loosen the wall plate screws, adjust, and then re-tighten.
• Issue: TV does not feel securely attached to the mount.
  Solution: Ensure the Click'n'Pull locking mechanism is fully engaged. Push the bottom of the TV firmly towards the wall until you hear a click or feel it lock into place. Verify that the TV brackets are properly seated on the wall plate.
• Issue: Mount feels loose on the wall.
  Solution: This indicates improper installation. Immediately remove the TV. Re-check that the wall anchors/screws are correctly installed and tightened into a solid, weight-bearing structure (e.g., wood studs or concrete). Do not use the mount if it feels loose.
