This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your KERUI Wireless Door and Window Alarm System. This system is designed to enhance the security of your home, office, or garage by detecting unauthorized entry through doors or windows. It features a loud 120dB alarm and multiple operating modes for versatile use.
2. Package Contents

3. Product Overview
The KERUI Wireless Door and Window Alarm System consists of main alarm units (sensors) and remote controls. Each sensor unit is composed of a main alarm body and a magnetic strip. When the magnetic strip separates from the main body, the alarm is triggered.

4. Setup and Installation
The KERUI alarm system is designed for easy, wire-free installation using adhesive patches or screws.
4.1. Battery Installation
The main alarm unit requires 2 AAA batteries. The remote control comes with a pre-installed battery.
- For the Sensor Unit: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the main alarm unit. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.
- For the Remote Control: The remote control typically comes with a battery already installed. If replacement is needed, refer to the remote's specific instructions.
4.2. Mounting the Sensor
Choose a clean, dry surface on your door or window frame for installation. The main alarm unit and the magnetic strip must be aligned correctly and placed within 1 cm (0.4 inches) of each other when the door/window is closed.

- Clean the Surface: Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry for optimal adhesive performance.
- Attach Adhesive: Peel off the protective film from the adhesive patch and firmly attach it to the back of the main alarm unit and the magnetic strip.
- Position Units: Mount the main alarm unit on the door or window frame and the magnetic strip on the moving part (door or window). Ensure the alignment marks (arrows or lines) on both parts face each other.
- Maintain Gap: The gap between the main unit and the magnetic strip must be less than 1 cm (0.4 inches) when the door or window is closed.
- Secure Installation: Press firmly for a few seconds to ensure a strong bond. For added security, screws can be used (not always necessary with strong adhesive).
5. Operating Instructions
The KERUI alarm system offers three distinct operating modes, controlled via the remote control.
5.1. Remote Control Functions
- Arm Button (Lock Icon): Activates the alarm system. The sensor will enter the selected alarm mode.
- Disarm Button (Unlock Icon): Deactivates the alarm system. The sensor will stop alarming and enter standby mode.
- Mode Change Button (Bell/Speaker Icon): Cycles through the three alarm modes: Normal Alarm, Alarm and Stop, and Chime Mode.
- SOS Button (SOS Icon): Triggers an immediate alarm regardless of the system's armed status. Useful for emergencies.

5.2. Alarm Modes
The system offers three distinct modes to suit various security needs:
- Normal Alarm Mode: When a door or window is opened, the alarm will sound continuously for one minute. You can stop the alarm at any time using the remote control's Disarm button.
- Alarm and Stop Mode: In this mode, the alarm sounds immediately when the door or window is opened and stops as soon as the door or window is closed again. This is useful for immediate alerts that reset automatically.
