3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment on the main alarm unit.
- Insert 2 AAA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment securely.

3.2 Mounting the Alarm Unit and Magnetic Strip
- Placement: It is recommended to place the door sensor alarm 6-8 inches above the ground.
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the installation surface is strong, clean, and dry.
- Attachment: Use the provided double-sided adhesive tape to fix the main alarm unit and the magnetic strip.
- Alignment: Install the main unit and magnetic strip separately on the door/window frame and the door/window itself. The gap between them must be ≤ 0.4 inch (approximately 1 cm) when the door/window is closed.
- Orientation: Ensure the alignment marks on both parts face each other.
Important Notes:
- The device is not waterproof. Do not install outdoors or in areas exposed to water.
- The installation base must be strong to ensure secure attachment.

3.3 Pairing Additional Accessories (Optional)
The D121 system can connect with multiple remote controllers and other sensors (e.g., infrared detectors, additional door sensors, emergency buttons). One door/window sensor can connect with multiple remote controllers, and one remote controller can also connect with different door sensors. The system supports up to 30 accessories.
Refer to the specific instructions provided with additional accessories for pairing procedures. Generally, this involves putting the main alarm unit into a pairing mode using the [SET] button and then activating the accessory.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Main Unit Controls
- [ON/OFF] Switch: Located on the side of the main unit to power the device on or off.
- [SET] Button: Used for various settings. Long press or short press for different durations to access specific configurations, indicated by a 'beep' sound.
4.2 Remote Control Functions
The remote control provides convenient access to the primary functions of the alarm system:

4.3 Alarm Modes
The KERUI D121 offers three distinct operating modes:
- Security Alarm Mode: When armed, if the door or window is opened, the alarm will sound a loud 120dB alert to deter intruders.
- Door Open Chime Mode (Doorbell Mode): When activated, the system will emit a 'ding-dong' sound when the door or window is opened. This is suitable for shops or as a simple notification system at home.
- Emergency SOS Mode: Pressing the SOS button on the remote control will immediately trigger the alarm, providing a way for elderly individuals or those in distress to call for help.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement
The main alarm unit is powered by 2 AAA batteries. When the batteries are low, the alarm time will be shorter, and the alarm sound will be smaller. Replace batteries promptly to ensure optimal performance.
- Power off the main unit using the [ON/OFF] switch.
- Open the battery compartment.
- Remove the old batteries and insert new AAA 1.5V batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment and power on the unit.
5.2 Cleaning
