3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Remove the battery cover located on the back of the clock.
2. Insert 2 fresh AA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings (+ and -).
3. Replace the battery cover.

3.2 Initial Setup and Atomic Time Synchronization

Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically begin searching for the WWVB atomic time signal. This process can take several minutes to several hours, depending on your location and environmental conditions. The atomic signal icon will flash during the search and become solid once synchronized.

• Place the clock near a window for optimal signal reception.
• Avoid placing the clock near electronic devices that may cause interference.
• If the signal is not received after 24 hours, you may need to manually set the time (refer to Section 4.1).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Manual Time Setting

If atomic synchronization is not desired or unavailable, you can manually set the time:

1. Press and hold the SET button on the back of the clock to enter the settings menu.
2. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the hour, then press SET to confirm.
3. Repeat for minutes, year, month, and date.
4. Press SET to exit the settings menu.

4.2 Time Zone Selection

The clock supports 7 time zones. To select your time zone:

1. Press the TIME ZONE button (if available, or cycle through settings using SET).
2. Use the + or - buttons to select your desired time zone (e.g., EST, CST, MST, PST).
3. The clock will adjust accordingly.

4.3 Daylight Saving Time (DST)

The clock offers three DST options: On, Off, and Automatic.

1. Press the DST button (or cycle through settings using SET).
2. Use the + or - buttons to select your preferred setting.
3. Automatic: Clock adjusts automatically for DST changes.
4. On: DST is always active.
5. Off: DST is always inactive.

4.4 Temperature Unit Selection

To switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C):

1. Press the TEMP button (or cycle through settings using SET).
2. Use the + or - buttons to select either °F or °C.

4.5 Alarm Setting and Snooze

1. Press and hold the ALARM button to enter alarm setting mode.
2. Use the + or - buttons to set the desired alarm hour and minute.
3. Press ALARM to confirm and activate the alarm. The alarm icon will appear on the display.
4. When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to temporarily silence it for 10 minutes.
5. To turn off the alarm, press the ALARM button once. The alarm icon will disappear.

4.6 Seconds Display On/Off

To toggle the seconds display:

1. Press the + button to turn the seconds display on or off.

5.1 Wall Mounting

The clock features a keyhole slot on the back for easy wall mounting.

1. Choose a suitable location on a wall, ensuring it is stable and free from obstructions.
2. Install a screw (not included) into the wall, leaving a small portion protruding.
3. Align the keyhole slot on the back of the clock with the screw head and slide the clock down to secure it.

For tabletop placement, use the integrated adjustable stand.

1. Pull out the stand from the back of the clock.
2. Adjust the stand to your desired angle for optimal viewing.
3. Place the clock on a flat, stable surface.
