Setup

  1. Initial Charge: Before first use, ensure the device is placed in direct sunlight for at least 8 hours to fully charge the internal battery. The solar panel is made of polycrystalline silicon.
  2. Power On: Locate the On/Off button on the back of the device and press it to turn the unit on.
  3. Placement: Select an appropriate location for installation. The device should be placed as close as possible to the eye level of the animals you wish to deter.

Operating Instructions

The ISOTRONIC Solar Wild Animal Repeller operates automatically once turned on and sufficiently charged.

  • Daytime Operation: During the day, the integrated solar panel absorbs sunlight to recharge the internal battery. The LED lights will not be active.
  • Nighttime Operation: As darkness falls, the device automatically activates its red LED lights. These lights will flash intermittently, mimicking the eyes of predators, which serves as a deterrent to wild animals.
  • Effective Range: The direct effective range of the device is approximately 3-4 meters (10-13 feet). For optimal coverage, it is recommended to place a device every 6 to 8 meters (20-26 feet) along fences, trees, or wooden stakes. The device can cover an area of approximately 50 square meters (538 sq ft) with a broader detection range of up to 15 meters (49 feet).

Placement and Usage Recommendations

Proper placement is crucial for the effectiveness of the repeller.

  • Height: Position the device at a height that aligns with the eye level of the target animals.
  • Direction: If necessary, point the device outwards in all directions to cover the desired area.
  • Coverage: For larger areas, multiple units may be required to create an effective barrier.

Recommended Mounting Heights:

  • Flying Predators (e.g., birds of prey): 2.4 meters (approx. 7.9 feet)
  • Deer/Moose: 1.2 meters (approx. 3.9 feet)
  • Large Animals (e.g., wolves, wild boars): 60 cm (approx. 2 feet)
  • Small Animals (e.g., raccoons, foxes, martens): 30 cm (approx. 1 foot)
