Operating Instructions
Automatic Recording
The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your car's ignition is turned on (and power is supplied via the cigarette lighter port).
Loop Recording
The dash cam records video in continuous loops (e.g., 1, 3, or 5-minute segments). When the Micro SD card is full, the newest recordings will automatically overwrite the oldest unlocked files. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention. Locked files (from G-Sensor events) are protected from being overwritten.
G-Sensor (Collision Detection)
The built-in G-sensor detects sudden shocks or collisions. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This footage is saved as an event file. It is recommended to adjust the G-sensor sensitivity to 'low' to prevent the card from filling up with unnecessary locked files due to minor bumps.

Text explains that the built-in G-sensor automatically records, locks, and stores video in the event of an emergency shock or collision, preventing the file from being overwritten.
Super IR Night Vision & WDR Technology
The dash cam is equipped with an f/2.0 large aperture and WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology to enhance image clarity in varying light conditions. The interior camera features 4 non-light infrared (IR) LEDs, enabling it to capture clear black and white images of the cabin at night. If the interior view appears gray due to IR, you can long-press the 'UP' button to turn off the IR function and restore normal color view.

The image highlights the 'Super Night Vision with 4 IR Lights' feature, explaining that the interior lens has 4 IR lights and can rotate 180 degrees, capturing clear views of pedestrians and license plates even in dark conditions.
Parking Monitoring
The dash cam supports emergency video recording when parked. If it detects a collision, it will automatically turn on and record a 30-second protected video. For 24-hour parking monitoring, a separate hardwire kit (Type-C Port) is required and can be purchased separately.

Video Playback
You can play back recorded videos using three methods:
- On the Dash Cam: Use the control buttons to navigate to the playback menu on the 2-inch IPS screen.
- Using a USB Reader: Remove the Micro SD card from the dash cam, insert it into the provided USB reader, and connect the reader to your computer.
- Connecting to PC: Use the provided USB cable to connect the dash cam directly to your PC. The dash cam will appear as a removable disk, allowing you to access the video files.
Maintenance
SD Card Management
Regularly check your Micro SD card for locked files. If there are too many locked files, the loop recording function may not operate optimally, and new recordings might not be saved. It is recommended to format the SD card periodically (e.g., once a month) to ensure optimal performance. Back up any important footage before formatting.
Cleaning
Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the camera lenses and the screen. Avoid using abrasive materials or chemical cleaners that could damage the surfaces.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Vlokda X50 Dash Cam, please refer to the following common solutions:
- Dash Cam Not Turning On: Ensure the car charger is properly connected and the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket is receiving power. Check the USB cable for damage.
- Recording Not Saving / SD Card Full: Verify that the Micro SD card is Class 10 or above and properly inserted. Format the SD card to clear old files. Adjust the G-sensor sensitivity to 'low' to reduce the number of locked files.
- Poor Night Vision Quality: Ensure the lenses are clean. If the interior view is gray, long-press the 'UP' button to turn off the IR function if you prefer color.
- Dash Cam Shuts Down Unexpectedly: This could be due to a full SD card with too many locked files or an issue with the power supply. Check the SD card and power connection.
- Buttons Unresponsive: Try resetting the device using the card needle in the reset hole.
