Setup

1. Charging the Device:

Before first use, fully charge the T4X unit. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the intercom and plug the other end into a USB power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.

2. Installing into Helmet:

Choose between the metal clip or adhesive mount for attaching the T4X to your helmet. Ensure the mounting location is secure and does not obstruct helmet functionality.

  1. Speaker Placement: Attach the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets using the velcro pads. Ensure they are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound.
  2. Microphone Attachment:
    • For full-face helmets, use the soft microphone and attach it to the inside of the chin bar.
    • For open-face or modular helmets, use the hard boom microphone and attach it to the helmet's side, positioning the microphone close to your mouth.
  3. Connect Cables: Plug the speaker and microphone cables firmly into the corresponding ports on the T4X main unit. Ensure the connection is secure to prevent audio issues.

Operation

1. Power On/Off:

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns on.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.

2. Bluetooth Pairing (Smartphone/GPS):

The T4X uses Bluetooth 5.2 for stable connections.

  1. With the T4X powered off, press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  2. On your smartphone or GPS device, enable Bluetooth and search for "TNICER T4X".
  3. Select "TNICER T4X" to connect. Once paired, the indicator light will turn solid blue.

3. Intercom Pairing (Multi-Rider):

The T4X supports one-touch automatic pairing for up to 8 riders.

  1. Ensure all T4X units are powered on and not connected to any other devices.
  2. On one T4X unit (the host), press and hold the Intercom button for 5 seconds until it enters pairing mode (indicator light flashes green).
  3. On the other T4X units (clients), briefly press the Intercom button. They will automatically search and connect to the host unit.
  4. Repeat for all units in the group. Once connected, all units will show a solid green light.
  5. If a rider leaves the communication range, the T4X will automatically attempt to reconnect when they return.

4. Audio Functions:

  • Music Playback: Once paired with a smartphone, music will play automatically. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons to adjust volume. Press the Multi-function button once to Play/Pause.
  • FM Radio: Press the FM button to turn on/off the FM radio. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons to scan for stations.
  • Sound Adjustment: The T4X offers three sound effects. Press the EQ button to cycle through Bass Boost, Mid-range Boost, and Treble Boost.

  • Ambient Sound Reception: Activate this mode to hear surrounding sounds while riding, enhancing safety. Refer to the detailed manual for specific button presses.
  • Music Sharing: While playing music, press and hold the Music Share button to share your audio with a paired rider.

5. Voice Assistant:

Briefly press the Voice Assistant button to activate your smartphone's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant). This allows for hands-free control of your phone's functions.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
  • Water Resistance: While IP67 rated, avoid submerging the device in water for prolonged periods. Ensure all ports are securely closed before exposure to water.

Troubleshooting
