1. Power Connection: Connect the provided USB charging cable to the alarm clock and plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet. The clock will power on automatically.

   Important Note: Upon initial power-up, a default alarm set to 6:00 AM will sound. If this alarm is not desired, press the Mute button to silence it.

2. Time Format Selection (12/24 Hour Mode): This alarm clock supports both 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour (military time) formats. Refer to the specific buttons on your device (usually a 'MODE' or 'SET' button) to toggle between these modes. Press and hold the 'MODE' button to enter time setting mode, then short press to cycle through options including 12/24 hour format.

3. Setting the Time: Once in time setting mode, use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the hours and minutes. Press the 'MODE' button again to confirm each setting and move to the next. Exit setting mode by pressing 'MODE' repeatedly or waiting for the display to return to normal time.

5.1. Display Brightness Adjustment

To adjust the brightness, locate the dedicated brightness control button (often labeled with a sun icon or 'DIMMER'). Press this button repeatedly to cycle through the 5 brightness levels and the 'OFF' mode.

5.2. Alarm Settings (Tone and Volume)

The alarm clock offers three distinct alarm tones and two volume levels to ensure you wake up comfortably. The volume can be set between 75dB and 85dB.

• Alarm Tones: Choose from Bird Song, Beep, or Chord.
• Alarm Volume: Select between two volume levels (75dB or 85dB).

To set the alarm time, tone, and volume, refer to the specific alarm setting buttons on your device (often labeled 'ALARM SET'). Typically, you will press and hold the 'ALARM SET' button, then use '+' and '-' to adjust the time, and short press 'ALARM SET' to cycle through tone and volume options.

5.3. Snooze Function

For those who need a few extra minutes of sleep, the alarm clock includes a 9-minute snooze function. The snooze button is conveniently located on the top of the clock, making it easy to find and press even when half-asleep.

When the alarm sounds, press the large snooze button on top of the clock. The alarm will pause for 9 minutes and then sound again.

5.4. Memory Function (Power Outage Backup)

The alarm clock is equipped with a memory function that preserves your time and alarm settings during a power outage. While on battery backup, the screen will go blank, and the alarm will not sound. However, once power is restored, the clock will display the correct time and your settings will remain intact.

7. Troubleshooting

• Alarm sounds immediately upon plugging in: This is normal behavior. The clock has a default 6:00 AM alarm that activates on first power-up. Simply press the Mute button to turn it off if not needed.

• Display is blank during a power outage: This is expected. The clock's memory function keeps track of the time internally during power interruptions, but the LED display will turn off to conserve power. The display will return when power is restored.

• Clock not turning on: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the clock and the power adapter, and that the adapter is properly plugged into a working wall outlet. Try a different outlet or USB port if available.

• Cannot change settings: Ensure you are in the correct setting mode (e.g., time setting, alarm setting) by pressing and holding the appropriate button (e.g., 'MODE', 'ALARM SET'). Refer to section 4 and 5 for detailed instructions.
