Maintenance
Cleaning the Lenses
Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optics. Gently wipe the lens surfaces to remove dust and smudges. For stubborn marks, a small amount of lens cleaning fluid can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.
Cleaning the Body
Wipe the binocular body with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the rubber armor.
Storage
When not in use, store the binoculars in their standby bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the dust caps are in place to protect the lenses.
Troubleshooting
Blurred Image
- Ensure proper focusing using the central focus wheel and diopter adjustment.
- Check if the objective lenses or eyepieces are dirty and clean them as per maintenance instructions.
- Verify that the interpupillary distance is correctly set for your eyes.
Compass Illumination Not Working
- Check the battery compartment for proper battery insertion and charge. The binocular requires 1 'A' battery.
- Ensure the power button is pressed firmly.
Double Image
- Adjust the interpupillary distance until a single, circular field of view is achieved.
- If the issue persists, the binoculars may require professional alignment.
