1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Bellemave Hall Tree with Bench and Shoe Storage. This multi-functional entryway furniture is designed to provide organized storage for coats, hats, bags, and shoes. Please read this manual carefully before assembly and use to ensure proper installation and safe operation.
2. Safety Information
- Always follow assembly instructions carefully.
- Ensure all hardware is securely tightened before use. Periodically check and re-tighten as necessary.
- Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 300 LBS for the bench.
- For safety, it is recommended to secure the hall tree to a wall using an anti-tip kit (if included or purchased separately) to prevent accidental tipping, especially in homes with children or pets.
- Keep small parts and packaging materials away from children.
- Assemble on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratching the product.
3. Parts List and Hardware
Before beginning assembly, ensure all parts and hardware are present and undamaged. Refer to the included hardware pack and parts diagram for identification. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact customer support.

4. Assembly Instructions
Estimated assembly time: 1 hour (2 adults recommended).
Step 4.1: Unpack and Organize
Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface (e.g., a blanket or carpet) to prevent scratches. Identify each part using the provided parts list.
Step 4.2: Assemble the Base Unit
Begin by assembling the lower shoe storage cubbies and the bench frame. Connect the side panels to the bottom and middle shelves using the designated hardware. Ensure all connections are snug but do not overtighten.

Step 4.3: Attach Side Panels and Back Support
Attach the main side panels of the hall tree to the assembled base unit. Once the sides are in place, carefully install the back panels. The back panels often slide into grooves or are secured with small nails/screws. Ensure the back panels are flush and provide structural integrity.

Step 4.4: Install Top Shelf Unit
Position and secure the top shelf unit onto the upper section of the side panels. This unit typically includes multiple compartments for additional storage or display. Fasten it securely with the provided hardware.

Step 4.5: Attach Coat Hooks
Install the metal coat hooks onto the designated areas on the back panel. Ensure they are firmly attached to support coats and bags.

Step 4.6: Final Inspection and Wall Anchoring
Perform a final check to ensure all screws and fasteners are tight. If an anti-tip kit is provided, follow its instructions to secure the hall tree to a wall. This step is crucial for stability and safety.

5. Operating Instructions
The Bellemave Hall Tree is designed for convenient entryway organization:
- Coat Hooks: Use the six metal hooks to hang coats, jackets, scarves, hats, and bags. Distribute weight evenly.
- Bench: The sturdy bench provides a convenient spot to sit while putting on or taking off shoes. Do not stand on the bench.
- Shoe Cubbies: The ten lower compartments are ideal for storing shoes, boots, or small storage bins.
- Top Shelves: The upper shelves can be used for decorative items, small storage boxes, or frequently accessed essentials.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the finish.
- Dusting: Regularly dust the unit with a dry, soft cloth.
- Hardware Check: Periodically inspect all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability.
- Avoid Moisture: Keep the hall tree away from excessive moisture or direct sunlight to prevent warping or discoloration.
7. Troubleshooting
- Unit feels wobbly: Ensure all assembly hardware is fully tightened. If the unit is not anchored to the wall, consider installing an anti-tip kit. Check that the unit is on a level surface.
- Scratches on surface: Minor scratches can sometimes be touched up with a furniture repair pen matching the white finish. For deeper scratches, professional repair may be needed.
- Difficulty with assembly: Review the assembly steps and diagrams carefully. Ensure you are using the correct hardware for each step. If issues persist, contact customer support.
