Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required. Please follow these steps carefully:

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base until they click securely into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the central hole of the assembled star base. Cover it with the gas lift cover.
3. Attach Mechanism to Seat: Secure the mechanism plate to the underside of the seat base using the provided screws. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat.
4. Attach Armrests: Attach the armrests to the seat base using the designated screws. Ensure they are oriented correctly.
5. Attach Backrest to Seat: Align the backrest with the seat base and secure it using the screws provided.
6. Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the central hole of the mechanism plate aligns with the top of the gas lift. Apply gentle downward pressure to secure.
7. Attach Cushions: Secure the headrest and lumbar support cushions using their integrated straps. The lumbar cushion typically rests at the curve of your lower back, and the headrest cushion at your neck/head level.

Operating Instructions

• Height Adjustment: To adjust the seat height, pull the lever located on the right side of the seat upwards. While seated, lift the lever to lower the chair. To raise the chair, lift the lever while standing. Release the lever to lock the height.
• Backrest Recline: To recline the backrest, pull the lever on the left side of the seat upwards. Lean back to your desired angle and release the lever to lock the position. To return to an upright position, pull the lever and lean forward.
• Tilt Function: The chair features a tilt mechanism. Use the knob located under the seat to adjust the tension of the tilt. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to tilt) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to tilt).
• Lumbar and Headrest Cushions: Adjust the position of the lumbar and headrest cushions by sliding them along their straps to find the most comfortable support for your back and neck.

Maintenance

• Squeaking noises: Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to moving parts or joints, avoiding fabric surfaces. Check and tighten all screws.
