4. Setup and Initial Use

4.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included).

4.2 Powering On/Off

Locate the power button on the speaker. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to turn the speaker ON or OFF. An indicator light or sound will confirm the status.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Controls

The speaker features intuitive controls for playback and volume adjustment:

  • Volume Up (+): Press to increase volume.
  • Volume Down (-): Press to decrease volume.
  • Play/Pause: Press to play or pause audio.
  • Next Track: Long press the Volume Up (+) button.
  • Previous Track: Long press the Volume Down (-) button.

5.2 RGB LED Control

The speaker includes dynamic RGB LED lights. Use the dedicated light button (if available) or refer to the specific control sequence to change light modes or turn them off.

5.3 Sound Adjustment (Bass & Treble)

Adjust the bass and treble levels to customize your listening experience. Dedicated EQ controls are available on the speaker's control panel.

6. Connectivity

6.1 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
  3. Search for 'Partypal 185' in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to connect.
  4. A confirmation sound will indicate successful pairing.

6.2 AUX Input

Connect an audio device using a 3.5mm AUX cable to the speaker's AUX port. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.

6.3 USB Playback

Insert a USB drive containing audio files into the USB port. The speaker will automatically detect and play the audio.

6.4 TF Card Playback

Insert a TF (microSD) card with audio files into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically detect and play the audio.

7. TWS Mode (True Wireless Stereo)

To experience enhanced stereo sound, you can pair two Partypal 185 speakers wirelessly:

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered ON and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker, press and hold the TWS button until you hear a pairing prompt.
  3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. A confirmation sound will indicate successful TWS pairing.
  4. Once paired, connect your device via Bluetooth to the primary speaker. Both speakers will now play audio in stereo.

8. Karaoke Function

The Partypal 185 supports karaoke. Connect a microphone to the designated MIC input port on the speaker. Adjust microphone volume and echo effects using the speaker's controls.
