- Close the load plate and push the load lever back into place until it clicks.
- Apply thermal paste to the CPU and install the CPU cooler according to its manufacturer's instructions.
3.3. Memory (RAM) Installation
- Locate the DDR4 DIMM slots. This motherboard supports dual-channel DDR4 memory.
- Open the clips at both ends of the DIMM slot.
- Align the notch on the RAM module with the key in the DIMM slot.
- Insert the RAM module firmly into the slot until the clips snap into place. Ensure both clips are closed.
3.4. Storage Device Installation
3.4.1. SATA Drives
- Connect one end of a SATA data cable to a SATA 6Gb/s connector on the motherboard.
- Connect the other end of the SATA data cable to your SATA hard drive or SSD.
- Connect a SATA power cable from your power supply unit (PSU) to the SATA drive.
3.4.2. NVMe M.2 SSD
- Locate the NVMe M.2 connector on the motherboard.
- Remove the M.2 standoff screw.
- Insert the M.2 SSD into the slot at a 30-degree angle.
- Gently push down the M.2 SSD and secure it with the standoff screw.
3.5. Power Supply Connection
- Connect the 24-pin ATX main power connector from your PSU to the corresponding slot on the motherboard.
- Connect the 4-pin or 8-pin ATX 12V power connector (CPU power) from your PSU to the corresponding slot near the CPU socket.
3.6. Peripheral Connections
- Front Panel Connectors: Connect the power switch, reset switch, HDD LED, and power LED cables from your PC case to the front panel header on the motherboard. Refer to your PC case manual for specific pin assignments.
- USB Ports: Connect front panel USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 cables to the respective headers on the motherboard.

4. Operating Instructions
After completing the hardware installation, connect your monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the rear I/O panel. Power on your system. The motherboard will initiate the boot process. You may need to enter the BIOS/UEFI setup to configure boot order, enable XMP for memory, or adjust other system settings. Refer to the BIOS/UEFI section of your system's documentation for detailed instructions.
Install your operating system (e.g., Windows 10) and necessary drivers for the chipset, integrated graphics, LAN, and audio. Drivers are typically available on the manufacturer's website or included with the motherboard.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean dust from the motherboard and components using compressed air. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- BIOS/UEFI Updates: Periodically check the manufacturer's website for BIOS/UEFI updates. Updates can improve stability, compatibility, and performance. Follow the update instructions carefully to avoid system damage.
- Driver Updates: Keep your system drivers updated for optimal performance and security.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Power:
- Check all power connections (24-pin ATX, 4/8-pin CPU power) from the PSU to the motherboard.
- Ensure the PSU is switched on and connected to a working power outlet.
- Verify front panel power switch connection.
- No Display:
- Ensure the monitor is connected to the correct display output (VGA, DVI, or HDMI) on the motherboard or discrete graphics card.
- Reseat RAM modules. Incorrectly seated RAM is a common cause of no display.
- If using a discrete graphics card, ensure it is properly seated in the PCIe slot and has adequate power.
- System Instability/Crashes:
- Check CPU and GPU temperatures. Overheating can cause instability.
- Run memory diagnostic tools to check for faulty RAM.
- Ensure all drivers are correctly installed and up to date.
- Operating System Not Booting:
- Verify boot order in BIOS/UEFI settings.
- Check SATA/M.2 connections for your boot drive.
- If the OS was recently installed, ensure all necessary drivers are present.
