1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before operating the air purifier.
  • Always unplug the air purifier from the power outlet before cleaning, performing any maintenance, or when not in use.
  • Do not operate the air purifier with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord or plug is damaged, contact qualified service personnel.
  • Do not run power cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area where it will not be tripped over.
  • Keep the air purifier away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other heat-producing appliances.
  • Do not use the air purifier in wet or damp locations, such as bathrooms or laundry areas.
  • Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into any openings.
  • This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
  • Use this air purifier only for its intended household use as described in this manual.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
  2. Remove all packaging materials, including any plastic bags or protective inserts.
  3. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.

4.2 Filter Installation

The HP670 air purifier comes with filters pre-installed, but they may be wrapped in protective plastic. Ensure all plastic wrapping is removed before first use.

  1. Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
  2. Turn the unit upside down and twist off the base to access the filter compartment.
  3. Remove the old filter (or the new filter with plastic wrapping if it's the first setup).
  4. Remove any plastic packaging from the new filter.
  5. Wrap the new pre-filter around the HEPA filter and secure it with the velcro.
  6. Place the new filter back into the unit with the sticker facing up.
  7. Lay the base on top and twist to lock it securely.

4.3 Placement

Place the air purifier on a firm, level surface. For optimal performance, ensure there is at least 6 inches of clear space around all sides of the unit to allow for proper airflow. Avoid placing it directly against walls or furniture.

5. Operating Instructions

The Hunter HP670 features a user-friendly digital control panel located on the top of the unit.

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the On/Off button to turn the unit on or off.

5.2 Fan Speed Selection

Press the Speed button repeatedly to cycle through the three available fan speeds (1, 2, 3). The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.

5.3 Sleep Mode

Press the Sleep Mode button to activate quiet operation. In this mode, the fan speed will be reduced, and the display lights may dim for minimal disturbance.

5.4 Timer Function

Press the Timer button repeatedly to set the operating time for 2, 4, or 8 hours. The unit will automatically turn off after the selected time has elapsed.

5.5 Accent Light

Press the Accent Light button to turn the ambient light feature on or off.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air purifier.

6.1 Filter Replacement

The HP670 is equipped with filter replacement indicators for both the HEPA filter and the Pre-Filter. When an indicator light illuminates, it is time to replace the corresponding filter.

Replacement Frequency:

  • True HEPA Filter: Typically every 6-12 months, depending on usage and air quality.
  • EcoSilver® Pre-Filter with Coconut Carbon: Typically every 3-6 months, depending on usage and air quality.

  1. Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
  2. Turn the unit upside down and twist off the base to access the filter compartment.
  3. Remove the used filter(s).
  4. Dispose of the used filter(s) properly.
  5. Unpack the new filter(s) and ensure all plastic wrapping is removed.
  6. Wrap the new pre-filter around the new HEPA filter and secure it with the velcro.
  7. Place the new filter assembly back into the unit, ensuring the sticker is facing up.
  8. Reattach the base by twisting it until it locks securely.
  9. Plug in the air purifier. The filter indicator light should reset automatically. If not, consult the troubleshooting section.

6.2 Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as these may damage the finish. Ensure no water or liquids enter the unit.

7. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your Hunter HP670 Air Purifier, please consult the following table before contacting customer support.
