Proper counterweight adjustment is crucial for optimal sound and to prevent damage to your records and stylus.
- Gently push the counterweight onto the rear of the tonearm.
- With the stylus guard in place, balance the tonearm by rotating the counterweight until the tonearm floats horizontally.
- Once balanced, hold the counterweight steady and rotate the numbered ring to '0'.
- Rotate the entire counterweight (including the numbered ring) counter-clockwise to the recommended tracking force (typically 2.5-3.5 grams for the ATN3600L stylus, refer to stylus manufacturer specifications for exact value).

To connect the turntable to external active speakers or an amplifier:
- Connect an RCA cable (not included) from the RCA AUX OUT ports (Red for Right, White for Left) on the rear of the turntable to the corresponding input on your external audio system.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Stylus
- Use a soft brush (not included) designed for stylus cleaning.
- Brush gently from back to front (in the direction of the tonearm's movement) to remove dust and debris.
- Avoid brushing from side to side, as this can damage the stylus.
6.2 Cleaning the Unit and Dust Cover
- Wipe the turntable unit with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
- For the dust cover, use a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals that could scratch or damage the plastic.
- Do not use excessive moisture.
6.3 Replacing the Stylus
The ATN3600L stylus has a limited lifespan and should be replaced after approximately 300-500 hours of playback, or if you notice a degradation in sound quality. Replacement styli are available from authorized dealers.
- Gently grasp the front of the cartridge and pull the old stylus assembly downwards and forwards to remove it.
- Align the new stylus assembly with the cartridge body and push it upwards and backwards until it clicks into place.
- Ensure the stylus is securely seated before use.
