4. Setup

4.1 Mounting the Dash Camera

The LF-D203 offers two mounting options: a suction cup mount and an adhesive mount. Choose the option that best suits your vehicle and preference.

  1. Front Camera Placement: Mount the front dash camera on your windshield, ideally behind the rearview mirror, ensuring it does not obstruct your view.
  2. Rear Camera Placement: The rear camera can be mounted on the middle position of the rear windshield or above the license plate for external mounting.
  3. Secure Mounting: Ensure the chosen mounting surface is clean and dry. Firmly press the mount onto the surface to secure it.

4.2 Connecting Power and SD Card

  1. Insert SD Card: The 32GB SD card is pre-installed. If replacing, ensure the card is inserted correctly into the designated slot. The camera supports up to 64GB.
  2. Connect Power: Use the provided car charger to connect the dash cam to your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. Route the cable neatly using the included crowbar and installation tool to avoid obstructing your view or vehicle controls.
  3. Rear Camera Connection: Connect the rear camera cable to the main dash cam unit.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Recording Modes

The LF-D203 records in 1080P resolution for the front camera and 720P for the rear camera, capturing clear details of your journey.

  • Wide Angle Coverage: The front camera features a 170° wide angle, and the rear camera has a 140° wide angle, minimizing blind spots and capturing a broader view of the road.

5.2 Loop Recording

When the memory card is full, the loop recording function automatically overwrites the oldest video segments with new ones, ensuring continuous recording without manual intervention. Videos are saved in 1, 3, or 5-minute segments.

5.3 G-Sensor (Gravity Sensor)

The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. When an event is detected, the current video footage is automatically locked and protected from being overwritten by loop recording, preserving critical evidence.

5.4 Parking Monitor

With the parking monitor function enabled, if your vehicle experiences an impact while parked and turned off, the dash cam will automatically activate using its built-in battery and record a 30-second emergency video.

5.5 Super Night Vision and HDR

5.6 Display Modes

The 3-inch LCD screen allows for various display modes to suit your viewing preference:

  • Default Display: Shows both front and rear views.
  • 2-Split Display: Divides the screen for simultaneous front and rear views.
  • Only Front Camera: Displays only the front camera's view.
