3.1 Connecting the Phone

  1. Attach the Phone Stand: Align the phone stand with the slots on the back of the phone unit and snap it into place.
  2. Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled cord into the handset and the other end into the handset port on the phone unit.
  3. Connect to Network:
    • Using PoE (Power over Ethernet): Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the phone and the other end to a PoE-enabled switch or injector. The phone will power on automatically.
    • Using Power Adapter: Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the phone and the other end to your network switch or router. Then, connect the 12V power adapter to the power port on the phone and plug it into a power outlet.
  4. (Optional) Connect to PC: If you wish to connect a computer through the phone, connect an Ethernet cable from the PC port on the phone to your computer's network port.

3.2 Initial Configuration

Upon first boot, the phone will attempt to obtain network settings via DHCP.
