5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Battery

  1. Connect the included USB charger to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  2. Connect the 7.4V 1050mAh Li-ion battery to the USB charger.
  3. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
  4. Charging typically takes approximately 1-2 hours. Do not overcharge the battery.

5.2 Installing the RC Truck Battery

  1. Remove the body clips and lift the truck body to access the battery compartment.
  2. Place the charged 7.4V 1050mAh Li-ion battery into the battery tray.
  3. Connect the battery connector to the ESC connector. Ensure correct polarity.
  4. Secure the battery in place using the battery strap or latch.
  5. Reattach the truck body and secure it with the body clips.

5.3 Installing Remote Controller Batteries

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the underside of the remote controller.
  2. Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.4 Binding the Remote Controller

The remote controller and truck are typically pre-bound from the factory. If re-binding is necessary:

  1. Ensure the truck battery is connected and the truck's power switch is OFF.
  2. Turn ON the remote controller.
  3. Turn ON the truck's power switch. The LED on the truck's receiver should blink, then become solid, indicating a successful bind.
  4. If the LED continues to blink, repeat the steps.
