5. Cooking Tips
- Oil Usage: The Rapid Hot Air Technology allows for cooking with little to no oil. For crispier results, a light spray or toss with a small amount of oil is sufficient.
- Even Cooking: For best results, shake the baskets halfway through the cooking process, especially for smaller items like fries or nuggets.
- Preheating: While not always necessary, preheating the air fryer for 3-5 minutes can improve cooking consistency for some foods.
- Food Types: This air fryer is suitable for baking, reheating, roasting, and steaming (if using appropriate accessories, not included).
- Overfilling: Avoid overfilling the baskets, as this can lead to uneven cooking and less crispy results. Cook in batches if necessary.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air fryer.
Before Cleaning:
- Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet.
- Allow the appliance to cool down completely before handling any parts.
Cleaning the Fry Baskets and Accessories:
- The fry baskets and any removable racks are typically dishwasher safe or can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water.
- For stubborn food residue, soak the baskets in warm water for about 10-15 minutes before cleaning.
- Use a non-abrasive sponge or brush to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling or storing.
Cleaning the Main Unit:
- Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth.
- Clean the interior cavity with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning pads or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the surfaces.
- Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
