1. Important Safety Information

Read all instructions before using the appliance. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Always ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
  • Do not immerse the main unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.

3. Setup and First Use

3.1 Unpacking

  • Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the appliance.
  • Check that all listed components are present.

3.2 Initial Cleaning

  • Wash the Grill Plate, Crisper Basket, and Cooking Pot in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. These components are dishwasher safe.
  • Wipe the interior and exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

3.3 Placement

  • Place the AirGrill on a dry, level, heat-resistant countertop.
  • Ensure there is at least 15 cm of clear space around the appliance for proper air circulation.
  • Do not place the appliance near flammable materials or heat sources.

3.4 Power Connection

  • Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The appliance will emit a beep, and the LED display will illuminate briefly.

4. Operating Instructions

The Milex MAG001 features an intuitive LED display and touch control panel for easy operation.

4.1 Control Panel Overview

The control panel includes buttons for Power, Time, Temperature, various cooking functions (Air Fry, Roast, Grill), Smart Grill settings (Low, Med, High, Max), Preheat, Add Food, and Start/Stop.

4.2 Cooking Functions

The AirGrill offers 8 preset functions and multiple cooking modes:

  • Air Frying: Uses 360° air circulation for crisp results with up to 75% less fat.
  • Grilling: Utilizes the Grill Plate for searing and charring. Features 4 Smart Grill settings: Low, Medium, High, and Max.
  • Roasting: Ideal for meats and vegetables.
  • Baking: Suitable for various baked goods.
  • Broiling: For browning and melting.
  • Dehydrating: For drying fruits, vegetables, and meats.
  • Crisping: For achieving extra crispy textures.

4.3 Basic Operation

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the appliance.
  2. Select your desired cooking function (e.g., Air Fry, Grill).
  3. Adjust the Temperature (80°C to 200°C) and Time using the respective buttons.
  4. For grilling, select one of the 4 Smart Grill settings (Low, Med, High, Max).
  5. Press Preheat if desired. The appliance will signal when preheating is complete.
  6. Place food into the appropriate accessory (Grill Plate, Crisper Basket, or Cooking Pot).
  7. Close the lid and press Start/Stop to begin cooking.
  8. The Add Food indicator will prompt you when it's time to add food after preheating.
  9. The appliance will beep when cooking is complete. Carefully remove food using heat-resistant utensils.

4.4 Smoke Control System

The integrated smoke control system helps minimize smoke during grilling, especially when cooking high-fat foods. Ensure the splatter shield is correctly installed.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your AirGrill.

5.1 Before Cleaning

  • Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
  • Allow the AirGrill to cool down completely before disassembling or cleaning.

5.2 Cleaning Accessories

  • The Grill Plate, Crisper Basket, and Cooking Pot are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them in warm, soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge.
  • For stubborn food residue, soak the accessories in warm, soapy water before cleaning.
  • Clean the Splatter Shield after each use to prevent grease buildup.

5.3 Cleaning the Main Unit

  • Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Clean the interior of the lid and heating element area with a damp cloth. Be careful not to damage the heating element.
  • Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing or reusing the appliance.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Milex MAG001 AirGrill, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
