2. Safety Instructions
- Ensure the appliance is properly grounded to prevent electrical shock.
- Do not operate the ice maker with a damaged power cord or plug.

3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
Carefully unpack the ice maker and remove all packaging materials. Place the unit on a stable, level surface. The ice maker can be used as a freestanding unit, under a counter, or on a countertop, provided there is adequate ventilation around the unit.

3.2 Water Inlet Methods
Your TAZPI ice maker supports two water inlet methods: direct tap water supply and barreled water supply.

3.2.1 Tap Water Supply
For direct tap water connection, ensure the water inlet pipe is securely inserted into the designated port at the rear of the machine. A water filter is provided to ensure clean ice production.

3.2.2 Barreled Water Supply
Alternatively, you can use a barreled water supply by placing a standard water bottle onto the inlet hole with the dust-proof lid on top of the machine.
3.3 Water Filter and Drain Pipe
Connect the provided water filter to the tap water inlet line to ensure purified water for ice making. Also, connect the drain pipe to the water outlet to allow for proper drainage.

3.4 Adjustable Supporting Feet
The ice maker is equipped with adjustable supporting feet to ensure stability on uneven surfaces. Adjust each foot by rotating it until the machine is level and stable.

4. Operation
4.1 Control Panel Overview
The ice maker features an intuitive control panel for easy operation. Familiarize yourself with the buttons and indicators:

- '+' / '-' Buttons: Adjust ice making time, which affects ice thickness.
- ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
- Reservation/Auto Clean (long press): Sets a 24-hour timer for ice making or initiates the automatic self-cleaning program.
- Blue Light/Deicing (long press): Turns the interior blue LED light on/off or initiates the deicing operation.
- Indicators: Ice Making, Reservation, Add Water, Ice Full, Melting, Stoppage, Clean.
4.2 Initial Start-up
- Ensure the water supply is connected and turned on.
- Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Press the ON/OFF button to start the ice making process.
4.3 Adjusting Ice Thickness
The ice maker can produce 36 ice cubes per cycle, with a cycle time of 8-15 minutes. You can adjust the thickness of the ice cubes using the '+' and '-' buttons on the control panel.
- Thin Ice: 5-8 minutes per cycle.
- Medium Ice: 9-12 minutes per cycle.
- Thick Ice: 13-17 minutes per cycle.

4.4 Ice Full and Water Shortage Indicators
The control panel will illuminate the 'Ice Full' indicator when the ice storage bin is full, and the machine will automatically stop ice production. The 'Add Water' indicator will light up when the water reservoir needs refilling (for barreled water mode) or if there's an issue with the tap water supply.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
5.1 Automatic Self-Cleaning
The ice maker is equipped with an automatic self-cleaning program. To activate, long-press the 'Reservation/Auto Clean' button on the control panel. This function helps maintain hygiene and prolong the life of the unit.
5.2 Regular Cleaning
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Interior: Periodically clean the interior of the ice storage bin and water tank with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and ensure all detergent residue is removed.
- Water Filter: Replace the water filter regularly according to usage or when you notice a decrease in water flow or ice quality.
- Drainage: Ensure the drain pipe is clear and free of blockages.
