1. Important Safeguards

4. Setup and First Use

4.1 Unpacking

  • Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the appliance.
  • Check that all components listed in the 'Included Components' section are present.

4.2 Initial Cleaning

  • Clean the frying pan and basket thoroughly with hot water, some dishwashing liquid, and a non-abrasive sponge.
  • Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a moist cloth.
  • Ensure all parts are completely dry before use.

4.3 Placement

  • Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal, and level surface. Do not place the appliance on non-heat-resistant surfaces.
  • Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the air fryer (at least 10 cm clearance on all sides and top).
  • Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Preparing for Cooking

  1. Carefully pull the frying pan out of the air fryer.
  2. Place the ingredients into the frying basket. Do not fill the basket beyond the MAX indication.
  3. Slide the frying pan back into the air fryer. Ensure it is fully closed.

5.2 Using the Digital Touch Panel

The digital touch panel allows precise control over cooking settings.

  • Power Button: Press to turn the appliance on/off.
  • Temperature Control: Use the temperature up/down arrows to adjust the cooking temperature (up to 200°C).
  • Timer Control: Use the timer up/down arrows to set the cooking time (up to 60 minutes).
  • Pre-set Menus: Select from 7 auto pre-set menus for common dishes. Each pre-set has a default time and temperature, which can be adjusted manually.
  • Preheat Function: The appliance includes a preheat function for optimal cooking results.

5.3 Cooking Process

  1. Plug in the air fryer. The display will light up.
  2. Place food in the frying basket.
  3. Set the desired temperature and time using the touch controls, or select a pre-set menu.
  4. Press the start button to begin cooking.
  5. During cooking, you may pull out the pan to shake the ingredients for even cooking. The air fryer will pause automatically and resume when the pan is reinserted.
  6. When the set time has elapsed, the air fryer will automatically shut off and beep.
  7. Carefully pull out the pan and empty the contents. Use tongs to remove food.

5.4 Tips for Air Frying

  • For best results, add a small amount of oil (1-2 tablespoons) to fresh ingredients.
  • Shake smaller ingredients halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking.
  • Use oven-safe dishes or molds if cooking delicate items.
  • The air fryer can also be used to reheat food.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Clean the appliance after every use.

6.1 Before Cleaning

  • Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.

6.2 Cleaning the Frying Pan and Basket

  • The frying pan and basket have a non-stick coating. Do not use metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning materials to clean them, as this may damage the coating.
  • Clean them with hot water, dishwashing liquid, and a non-abrasive sponge.
  • For stubborn dirt, soak the pan and basket in hot water with some dishwashing liquid for approximately 10 minutes.

6.3 Cleaning the Main Unit

  • Wipe the outside of the appliance with a moist cloth.
  • Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
  • Clean the heating element with a cleaning brush to remove any food residues.

7. Troubleshooting
