Setup and Installation

The VIVOSUN Quiet Register Booster Fan is designed for easy installation into standard 4"x10" register holes. It can be mounted on walls or floor registers.

1. Verify Register Size

Before installation, measure your existing register hole to ensure it is 4 inches by 10 inches for a perfect fit. The fan unit itself measures 11.8 inches in length and 5.5 inches in width, with a depth of 3.93 inches for the fan housing.

Operating Instructions

The VIVOSUN booster fan features an intelligent LCD controller for easy programming and operation.

1. Power On/Off

Once plugged in, the LCD screen will illuminate. Use the power button (usually indicated by a circle with a vertical line) to turn the unit on or off.

2. Setting Temperature Thresholds

The fan can be programmed to activate automatically based on temperature. Use the up and down arrow buttons on the LCD controller to set your desired cooling or heating temperature thresholds. The integrated high-precision thermal probe will monitor the ambient temperature.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Fan does not turn on.No power; unit unplugged; power button off.Check power cord connection; ensure outlet is functional; press power button.
Fan runs but no significant airflow.Fan speed set too low; obstruction in vent; fan blades dirty.Increase fan speed; check for and remove obstructions; clean fan blades.
Fan is too noisy.Fan speed set too high; unit not properly seated in vent; foreign object.Reduce fan speed; ensure unit is securely placed; check for and remove any foreign objects.
Temperature readings are inaccurate.Thermal probe obstructed or dirty; unit placed in direct sunlight/draft.Clean thermal probe; reposition unit if exposed to extreme external factors.
