4. Setup
4.1 Initial Power-Up
- Connect the weather station main unit to a power outlet using the provided power adapter. The display will illuminate.
- Alternatively, the unit can be powered by batteries (not included) for temporary use, but Wi-Fi functionality and full brightness are only available with adapter power.
4.2 Outdoor Sensor Setup
- Insert batteries into the wireless outdoor sensor. Ensure the channel switch on the sensor matches the desired channel on the main unit (e.g., Channel 1).
- Place the sensor in a suitable outdoor location, protected from direct sunlight and rain, within the 100-meter transmission range.
4.3 Wi-Fi Connection
- Download Tuya Smart App: Download and install the "Tuya Smart" app on your mobile phone (available for iOS and Android).
- Prepare for Pairing: Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Bluetooth should be enabled on your phone.
- Initiate Pairing: The weather station should automatically enter pairing mode when first powered on. If not, refer to the troubleshooting section or press the designated Wi-Fi pairing button (often labeled B5 or similar, hold for 10 seconds) on the device.
- Connect via App: Open the Tuya Smart app. The app should detect the device via Bluetooth. Follow the on-screen prompts to add the device. You will be asked to enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network password.
- Confirmation: Once connected, a stable Wi-Fi icon will appear on the weather station's screen, indicating a successful connection. The date, time, and 5-day forecast will update automatically.
5. Operation
5.1 Display Overview
The LCD screen displays various information:
- Indoor Temperature and Humidity: Located on the left side of the display.
- Outdoor Temperature and Humidity: Located on the right side of the display.
- Time and Date: Centrally displayed.
- 5-Day Weather Forecast: Icons and temperature predictions for the next five days.
- Wi-Fi Status: An icon indicating connection status.
5.2 Adjusting Display Brightness
When powered by the adapter, press the brightness button (usually on the top or side) to cycle through the four brightness levels (10%, 40%, 70%, 100%).
In battery mode, the screen remains on for 15 seconds at a single brightness level to conserve energy. Press any button to reactivate the display.
5.3 Setting Alarms
The weather station supports up to three alarms. Refer to the device's physical buttons or the Tuya Smart app for specific alarm setting instructions. Typically, there is an "ALARM" or "SET" button to enter alarm setting mode.
5.4 Switching Sensor Channels
If you have multiple outdoor sensors, press the "CHANNEL" button on the main unit to cycle through the connected sensor data (Channel 1, 2, 3).

7. Troubleshooting
7.1 No Wi-Fi Connection / Pairing Issues
- Ensure 2.4 GHz Network: The device only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. Confirm your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz network during setup.
- Reset Pairing: If the device does not pair immediately with the Tuya app, press and hold the "B5" button (or the fourth button from the top on the right side) for approximately 10 seconds to reset the pairing mode. Then, retry the connection process via the app.
- Bluetooth Enabled: Ensure Bluetooth is active on your mobile phone during the pairing process.
7.2 No Outdoor Sensor Data
- Check Batteries: Ensure the outdoor sensor has fresh batteries.
- Channel Match: Verify that the channel selected on the outdoor sensor matches the channel displayed on the main unit.
- Range: Ensure the sensor is within 100 meters of the main unit and there are no significant obstructions.
7.3 Display Not Bright Enough (Battery Mode)
In battery-only mode, the display brightness is limited to conserve power. For full brightness and continuous display, connect the main unit to the power adapter.
